Here are some frequently asked questions and our answers! If you have any other questions than what we've listed here, please reach out to us and we will get back to you quickly!
Question

Dress Code

Answer

- It is formal wear. Please do not wear casual clothes to our wedding. Examples of what to wear are suits with or without ties, dresses, formal jumpsuits, etc. - Please refrain from wearing cargo shorts, jeans, tennis shoes, etc. - Please do not wear any shades of purple, green, white, or beige to the wedding. Our wedding party will be wearing shades of purple and green, and we want them to stand out as members of our party. We want only our parties and those in the wedding procession to wear our wedding color scheme.

Question

Child Policy

Answer

- This is a child free wedding for non-relatives. Teenagers are allowed, but young children are not allowed to attend unless they are a family member of the bride or groom. - If you are a family member bringing your child/children, you are fully responsible to look after your child at all times. If they cause a disturbance, you need to take immediate care of the situation as the parent/guardian.

Question

Food

Answer

- Food will be catered half by Millie's Table and half by Zorba's. - There is a vegetarian option, gluten-free option, and allergies that we are currently aware of have been considered. If you have not told us about any dietary restrictions or allergies that you have, please contact us directly and we will adjust the food options for you!

Question

Bar

Answer

- The bar will be open, but we encourage you to bring cash to tip the bartenders. We will also set up QR codes for electronic tips. - We encourage our guests to please not overdo it with the drinks. With the wedding being held in a downtown city area where people are going to be driving, we want people to be as safe as possible on the roads. - Bartenders will be asked to check IDs, you must bring a valid ID in order to access drinks, regardless of who you are or how old you are. The bartending vendor for the wedding is owned by the bride and groom, so it is important that guests engage in responsible drinking behavior or they will be asked to leave, no exceptions. - Have fun, but please be safe and responsible!

Question

Elevators/Accommodations

Answer

- There are elevators at the Civic Center for those who need it. If you are likely to need elevator services for any reason, please reach out to us so we can make those options available to you and make sure workers/volunteers at the Civic Center guide you to the elevators!

Question

Gift Table/Registry

Answer

- There will be a table where you can bring gifts. On our website, we have included our registry. We will also set up a QR code to access our registry on the reception tables.
