The Liberty, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Boston

The Liberty Hotel is located in Beacon Hill, Boston's most historic neighborhood (and Deanna's former neighborhood)! It is the quintessential Bostonian experience for those visiting the city. The Liberty Hotel was orginally built in 1851 as a prison (you'll see hints of this around the hotel, such as the bar/restaurants "Alibi" and "Clink.") The Lobby Bar is a popular weekend late-night spot for locals and visitors alike. We will *likely* be in the Beacon Hill neighborhood for our afterparty. So, if you're intending to drink and be merry after the wedding, this would be the hotel for you! It is a 19-min walk or 5-min drive to the wedding, crossing over The Longfellow Bridge, which offers an amazing view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines along The Charles River. If you are feeling brave and want a REALLY Bostonian experience, take the "T" (the first subway system in the US!) outbound to Kendall Square (just one stop away and a 2-min ride). If you drive to the wedding, be prepared to have to park in a garage because street parking is a rare commodity in these parts -- Uber or Lyft is probably your best bet! You will be walking distance to the historic Charles Street shopping area, lined with real gas lanterns. Be sure to stop and see Acorn Street (the most photographed street in the country!), which was once refinished and every cobblestone was marked and placed back in it's exact original spot! Of course, it'll be January, so be sure to bundle up! **Although this hotel is marketed as "pet-friendly," you are not allowed to leave your pet in the room unattended.**

This is where Deanna & Adrian will be staying and getting ready for the wedding! We have reserved rooms with river views for our guests. Use the special link here for a discounted rate. If you call to make your reservation, mention the "Anderson-Contreras Wedding." But we recommend booking online to avoid any issues reserving over the phone. A 15-min walk or 4-min drive to the wedding venue. Uber or Lyft is recommended as parking is almost non-existent on the street. They can also call a taxi for you if you're feeling like traveling old-school ;-) This hotel is PET-FRIENDLY for up to 2 pets per room. Additional fee of $75/pet per stay. No crates required, but if your dog needs/prefers a crate, Deanna can arrange for a crate to be brought to you from The Mindful Mutt -- please just let her know in advance. The hotel expects dogs not to be barking when you leave.

Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge *Pet-friendly option*

Located on The Charles River. A 7-min Lyft/Uber/Taxi ride to the wedding venue and after-party locations. Bringing your dog? Dogs 50 pounds and under are permitted. Two dogs may be allowed in a guestroom, provided the combined weight of both dogs does not exceed 75 pounds. You are permitted to leave your dog in the hotel room as long as they are well-behaved. A fee of a $100 plus tax for stays up to six days and $200 plus tax for stays 7+ nights will be charged upon check in. An additional $100 deep-cleaning fee will be charged for 7-30 day stays. No crates required, but if your dog needs/prefers a crate, Deanna can arrange for a crate to be brought to you from The Mindful Mutt -- please just let her know in advance. The hotel expects dogs not to be barking when you leave.
