Street parking is not for the faint of heart ;-) MOST meters/municipal lots are a 2-hour limit. (You have to move to another "zone" after 2 hours.) On Sundays, Meters are always free and do not have a time limit. Loading, Commercial and Valet zones are usually restricted only during certain hours of the day -- read signs carefully! *Always check for street-sweeping signs that state times/days of the month when parking is not available. *Always check for "Snow Emergency" signs in case of a state-wide snow emergency. Parking is not allowed on these streets when a snow emergency is declared to make way for snow plows! *Always check for Resident Permit Parking Only times!
