During the winter months—typically November to March—the most popular spot in the nation’s oldest park, Boston Common, is the Frog Pond skating rink. Skating on the Frog Pond is a beloved wintertime tradition for Boston ice skaters of all ages. Bring your own skates or rent some at the concession stand. Lessons for all are available, as well as several seal-shaped skating aids for children. A café and free WiFi are also available at this popular Boston attraction.
The MFA is one of the most comprehensive art museums in the world with a collection that encompasses nearly 500,000 works of art.

Shopping, cute places to eat, and a very Bostonian experience even if you're just window shopping. Start on the East side of the street near the public garden and go into Valentino and Tiffany's and just pretend you're going to buy a bunch of stuff -- it's so fun (according to Deanna)! The West side of the street has more normal people stores like Uniqlo and Nike! All of the cross streets are in alphabetical order!
One of Boston's few independent bookstores. A must-visit if you walk down Newbury Street!
360 degree views of Boston from the very center of it all! Newly opened in 2023, View Boston offers Bistro and Small-Plates dining experiences, also. Tickets needed for admission.
The only bar in Oak Square and the location where we met! This dive bar is definitely not worth your time or the uber ride to get there, but if you stop by, be sure to say hi to the bartenders, Eric and Ashley!
