Salt Lake City International Airport

If you are traveling from out of town, we recommend flying into the Salt Lake City airport. It is roughly a 45-minute drive from there to Solitude. Another option is the Provo airport, which is located about 1 hour south of Salt Lake City, or 1.5 hours from Solitude.

Solitude Village Lodging

Wedding guests receive a 20% discount by booking at the link below. Through this link, you can book a standard hotel room (the Inn at Solitude), 1-3 bedroom condos (Eagle Springs, Powderhorn, or Creekside) or townhomes for larger groups. Silver Fork Lodge

Silver Fork Lodge has a handful of guest rooms and is located about two miles from Solitude Village. The Lodge also has a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining options.

Rental Car

Utah Mountain Shuttle

For anyone who does not want to rent a car, there are several paid shuttle companies that provide transfers between the airport and Solitude Mountain Resort. We recommend coordinating with other guests if you plan to arrange a shuttle. Once you arrive in Solitude Village, you will not need a car. You will be in walking distance to our venue, as well as several restaurants, a bar, a general store, and plenty of hiking and nature walks. Uber and Lyft rides are often available between Salt Lake City and Solitude for around $40-50, but it can be difficult to find a driver at busy times.

Parking Information

Plenty of parking is available at Solitude Village. The parking lot is located immediately at the turnoff for Solitude Village (12000 Big Cottonwood Canyon Road, Solitude, UT). From the parking lot, it is a 5-10 minute walk to our venue. We highly recommend staying in Solitude Village on Saturday night, particularly if you are planning to drink at the reception. Navigating the canyon in the dark can be challenging, especially for anyone who is not familiar with the roads.
