What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM on the lawn outside of the Last Chance Lodge at Solitude. The reception will immediately follow the ceremony, and it will take place inside the Last Chance Lodge.

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we have chosen to host an adults-only celebration, with the exception of the children of our wedding party and nursing infants. We hope that this advance notice means you will be able to join us on our big day and enjoy an evening off!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will be outside on the lawn, so consider wearing shoes that will not sink in the grass. Plan to dress for warmer weather, but be aware that the temperature at Solitude is often 10-15 degrees cooler than the temperature in Salt Lake City.

The Last Chance Lodge is a 5-10 minute walk from the Solitude Village parking lot, or a 2 minute walk from the Inn at Solitude. Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Plenty of parking is available at Solitude Village. The parking lot is located immediately at the turnoff for Solitude Village (12000 Big Cottonwood Canyon Road, Solitude, UT). From the parking lot, it is a 5-10 minute walk to the Last Chance Lodge.

Can I use a ridesharing app to get to the wedding?

Answer

We do not recommend relying on ridesharing apps to get to and from the wedding. Uber and Lyft rides are often available between Salt Lake City and Solitude for around $40-50, but it can be difficult and expensive to find a driver at busy times. We highly recommend staying in Solitude Village on Saturday night, even for those of you who are local! The Inn at Solitude is within walking distance from our venue, as well as numerous restaruants, bars, and activities.
