Alaska Airlines and Delta both fly to Ketchikan. We would recommend checking with both companies prior to booking and the sooner the better! Check each company's website for the best deals specific to each company.

Rental Car

AK Car Rental and Hertz

There aren’t many options. We will try to borrow a few cars from friends, but the rental agency we'd recommend starting with is AK Car Rental. Hertz may rent cars in Ketchikan too. Mary at AK Travelers says she can offer discount packages for cars as well as vacation rentals. AK Car Rental has offered all guests that rent a vehicle through them a 10% discount. Book directly at www.akcarrental.com In the comments section under the booking mention the Ortiz wedding, and they will apply the discount. They have sedans, SUVs, and 7 or 12 passenger vans available.

Vacation Home Rentals

There are three (that we know of) sites for booking vacation rentals. The sites are: AK Travelers, VRBO, and Air BnB. AK Travelers: Call Mary Bolshakoff directly at AK Travelers ( 907 225 7117) and ask her about her rates. She may have properties she can suggest to you that are not yet on-line for viewing. https://www.alaskatravelers.com/ You can check VRBO - Vacation Rental By Owner for some possible properties, but if the owner is listed there as AK Travelers, it is a better deal to get that property directly from Mary at AK Travelers. https://www.vrbo.com/ Air Bnb does not seem to be linked to AK Travelers in any way, so what you find there is the best price you can do - to the best of my knowledge. https://www.airbnb.com/ There will be more details to come about blocks of hotel rooms at local hotels. However, the cheapest and better space for your buck is going to be to group together and rent some of the houses if you are able to do so.

Inn at Creek Street

The Inn at creek street has provided us with room blocks. These location are close to the center of town and are a good option for convenient travel during your stay! The prices that follow will be valid until March 15th and then they will release the blocks and associated discounts. Bayside Hotel- $156.40-$164.90/night for a single queen bed room with mini fridge and most have a kitchenette. 2 of these rooms have a double bed sleeper sofa as well. The Wharf- $194.65/night with a minimum booking of 3 nights. This location has 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds, 1 double sleeper sofa, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. Amenities include a full kitchen and access to laundry.

June's Place- $190.40/night with a minimum booking of 2 nights. This location has 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. Amenities include a full kitchen and access to laundry. Preacher's House (only available 6/18-6/22)- $194.65/night with a minimum booking of 3 nights. This location has 1 bedroom and adjacent alcove with 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. Amenities include a full kitchen, access to laundry, fireplace, and bbq deck. Harborview- $177.65/night with a minimum booking of 2 nights. This location has 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed and 1 double sleeper sofa. Amenities include a full kitchen and access to laundry. Creekside Suites- $169.15/night for 1 loft bedroom that has 1 queen bed and 1 queen sleeper sofa, or 2 queen beds. Amenities include a kitchenette and jacuzzi tub.
