Short and longer hikes with beautiful views! We recommend the paved overlook trail for a quick walk to see the waterfall, or the uranium mine trail for a nice hike with great views that ends at the scenic river. Remember to bring $5 cash for parking.
Take the chairlift up to see views from the iconic Howelsen Hill, where many olympians have trained since 1915!
Tube the Yampa River! This is a really fun activity. We went through Backdoor Sports on Yampa St. and had a great time.
Our ceremony will take place on the top of the mountain, so you'll already have one chance to take a scenic gondola ride to take in all the views of Steamboat Springs and the Yampa Valley. If you want to spend more time on the mountain another day, consider going back up for hiking, mountain biking, or just drinking on the patio! The resort has sunset happy hours on Thursdays and Sundays as well.
A fun and relaxing activity for daytime or evening.
Steamboat Springs has lots of great restaurants, and almost all of them offer great happy hour deals for food and drinks!
