The Bow Foundation is dedicated to supporting GNAO1 families, research and awareness. Roughly 200 people are known to be impacted by a GNAO1 related neurodevelopmental disorder. Mollie’s nephew Max is one of those impacted. The first GNAO1 patients were only identified in 2013. Because of that, the scientific community is still beginning to realize the spectrum of symptoms and impacts from mutations in GNAO1. For this reason, donations to the Bow Foundation are critical to build a better tomorrow for GNAO1 patients and their families by fundraising to support medical research that leads to a more informed GNAO1 body of knowledge, better patient treatment options and an eventual cure. Sharsheret is the Jewish breast and ovarian cancer community supporting women and their families during every stage of cancer. Sharsheret has been an integral part of Mollie's proactive health journey and has supported her and her family in life-saving measures. Your contribution will help provide free counseling, essential materials like "Busy Boxes" for children of moms in treatment and "Cool Caps" and "Best Face Forward" kits at no cost for those in need. It will also help fund seminars/webinars, on campus programming, and so much more. Mollie is a California Advisory Board member and a Young Professional advisory committee member for Sharsheret.
