Meet at the adventure center at 9 AM on Friday for a group 5K run. We will end at the beach at Deer Lake, you can hang out there, or join in for yoga at 10:30. All are welcome to participate at an inclusive pace for the run! We will start out on the Boyne trails. There is a shuttle service through Boyne that can pick you up from the lake, or you can run the extra 2 miles back to the adventure center!
Miriam's sister-in-law, Corey, will be leading a yoga class on the beach at 10:30 AM. Please bring a mat or towel. The class will be designed for all to be able to participate. Hang out at the beach afterward and enjoy the water! You can take the Boyne shuttle to Deer Lake, just call them and ask for a ride! There is also parking available.
10 AM meet at trailhead. Riding: Boyne Forest are definitely “new school” trails with lots of flow and are appropriate for all skill levels. We’ll ride “Double Dog” which is a loop trail and pretty easy to navigate. Plan on riding for approximately one hour. It will also provide us with the opportunity to watch Chris Carefoot, Dylan Rickard, and Alex Primeau go “huge” on the jump lines near the trailhead. The primary goal of this ride is to have a fun adventure and not spend the afternoon in the ER. Rentals: Are available at Boyne Mountain’s Adventure Center and possibly at North Country Cycle.
