We will be hosting a laidback BBQ for everyone arriving on Thursday before the wedding! We will have BBQ and veggie options. Bring some beers or a side and come hang out to kick off the weekend! Feel free to drop off your cookies at the party! Children and families are welcome at this event.

Friday Activities

Check out the Things to Do page for information about a group mountain bike ride, run and yoga on the beach! We highly recommend heading to the Adventure Center at Boyne and picking out some fun activities, highly recommend either biking the scenic golf cart tour or renting a cart and cruising around the mountain (the path goes by two bars and the lake!) People staying at the resort get free kayak and canoe rental down at Deer Lake!
Welcome Party

Take the ski lift up to Eagles Nest to join us for a few celebratory drinks from 5-7. Lift tickets are free for guests staying at the resort, you can pick them up from the ticket booth on Thursday or Friday. We will also be handing out tickets. The lift goes very slow at the top, it's safe for all ages. Remember that if you're interested in doing the Sky Bridge it is a separate ticket for purchase that must be done at the base of the mountain before traveling up the mountain! After that we'll head back down the mountain to the Stein Eriksen patio, near the clock tower, for Taco Bar (7-9 pm) and cash bar from 7-11! Children and families are welcome at this event.

Wedding

Please join us at the beach for our wedding ceremony! We will start with a Tisch where we invite everyone to join around, bang on a table, share in some drinks while we sign our marriage license. People will be invited to tell stories, make a little of fun of us, and get the party started. There will be a bar and snacks available starting at 3:00! We will then take seats and get married in the sand overlooking Deer Lake. There is parking at Deer Lake and a shuttle. It is about 2 miles from the reception. Please hop on a shuttle immediately following the ceremony to the cocktail hour in the hemlock lawn followed by the reception! There will be a shuttle for guests to the ceremony and reception, details in the travel section. As much as we love all of your families, children are not invited to the wedding ceremony or reception. We are working on getting some options for childcare through Boyne, we will let you know when this is available. Thank you for being so understanding.
Cookie Table

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with all of you! As we have started our life together in Pittsburgh, we have decided to bring one of the Pittsburgh wedding traditions to Northern Michigan, a dessert cookie table!! https://weddingcookietable.com/history/ Traditionally friends and family will bake/bring cookies to share at the reception. We were hoping we could invite anyone to bake cookies, or buy your favorites, that will be displayed at the reception, and any leftovers will be sent home with guests. We’re hoping to have around 3,000 cookies!!! We appreciate anything anyone is willing to make/bake! These can be made and frozen ahead of time.
