Question

What is “festive cocktail with a smidge of camp"?

Answer

First…start with cocktail dress. If you’d like to stop there, you're already golden. If you want to wear something that sparkles… those shoes that dazzle, that top that glimmers, that one-shoulder pantsuit… now we’re getting festive! I mean, we won’t stop you if you bring your feather boa either ;) Come as you feel comfortable. Our colors will be jewel tones, and we want you to come and feel fabulous. It’s a party!

Question

Will there be scrumptious Spanish cuisine complete with tapas, sangria, and an open bar?

Answer

Why YES to that oddly specific question! Thanks for asking. Come hungry. Ceremony at 5pm, cocktail hour with sangria and hors d’oeuvres at 6pm, followed by Spanish-inspired family style dinner and desserts before dancing the night away! Oh! And yes, there's an open bar.

Question

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

What about my kiddos?

Answer

As much as we love and adore all of the children in our life, we are only able to invite a few close family members’ children. If you absolutely need childcare during the ceremony, and you have no other options, please RSVP with your interest. We will be looking into childcare for the evening for those limited few who need it.

Question

We’re from out of town, where should we stay?

Answer

We've tried to secure a reasonably priced option for most folks. Head on over to our Travel tab and check out the Hotel Indigo LES where we have a discounted rate block for our guests. Alternative hotels, as well as AirBnB options, may also be available in the Brooklyn/Williamsburg area.

Question

We’re traveling by plane, what airport should we fly into?

Answer

Honestly, all three metro-NYC airports (LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark) have easy access to Brooklyn. So, find a deal! JFK and Newark are accessible via AirTrain / subway into the city while LGA will likely require using a cab or car service. Car services like Uber and Lyft may be cheaper (or more expensive) than yellow cabs at certain times of day and/or with inclement weather. It's best to check around when you land or chat with the agent near the cab stand at each airport. We usually go with Uber/Lyft when we fly in and out.
