This is the airport for guests that are flying directly into St. John's. It is located within a 15 minute drive from the Alt Hotel.

Ferry Information

There are two ferries that run between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland this time of year: 1. North Sydney to Port Aux Basque: This is approximately a 6 hour ferry ride. It is then about a 9 hour drive from Port Aux Basque to St. John's where the wedding will take place. If you are are hoping to extend your trip and explore the west coast of Newfoundland, this would be the ferry to take! 2. North Sydney to Argentia: This is approximately a 16 hour ferry ride. It is then about a 1.5 hour drive from Argentia to St. John's. This option would be best for those driving but looking to stick around the St. John's area for the duration of the trip. *Please note that ferries sometimes book up 6-12 months in advance, especially cabins. *Argentia ferry only makes 3 crossings per week and therefore books up quite early.
