Question
Two venues? Where are they?
Answer
Heidi's parents, Lisa and Warren, are thrilled to host you all at their home for Heidi and Evan's backyard ceremony. Their address is 588 Windgap Road, Flatrock, NL. The reception will be held later that evening at the Alt Hotel downtown St. John's.

How will I get there? How will I get back?
Answer
JIFFY CABS? HONDA WAY! ... just a little newfie humour :) We want to make sure no one is worried about transportation. We will have shuttle buses arranged to bring all guests from the Alt Hotel to the Sullivan residence and back the day of the wedding. Buses will leave The Alt Hotel at 1:30pm sharp to ensure everyone arrives with time to grab a cold beverage and find their seat in time for the ceremony! Buses will return guests to The Alt after the ceremony for the reception. Please check the schedule page for further details.

I'm driving, where do i park?
Answer
If you are driving to the ceremony, please park at Heidi's aunt's house at 590 Windgap Road. Conveniently located right next door to the ceremony.

Where should i stay?
Answer
You can't go wrong staying anywhere downtown St. John's. There are plenty of hotels and airbnb's. As our reception is being held at the Alt Hotel this would be the easiest option, we even have a discount code (HEIDIEVAN24) for guests attending the wedding!

what time should i arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
We please ask guests to arrive no later than 2:15pm as the ceremony will start at 2:30pm. Please do not arrive before 1:30pm as the bridesmaids will be getting ready and taking photos at the ceremony location.

are kids invited?
Answer
We love your little ones however we wish to keep both our ceremony and reception an adults only affair, thank you for understanding!

can i bring a guest/date?
Answer
Because we have limited space we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding.

What do i wear?
Answer
If we had to make a dress code it would be summer cocktail (or semi-formal). We want everyone to feel their best! Just please no white, off-white, jeans or shorts.

will you be serving dinner?
Answer
Although we will not be serving a formal dinner, there will be plenty of food throughout the day. We will have food served at our post-ceremony cocktail hour as well as passed canapes/small bites served at the reception. Did someone say oyster bar??

will drinks be provided?
Answer
There will be drinks provided free of change for the ceremony portion of the day (including bus beers kept on ice for your trip to/from the ceremony!!!). There will be drinks for purchase at The Alt during the reception.

Can I take photos and videos?
Answer
The only time we ask that you don't take photos is during the ceremony. Otherwise, feel free snap the day away!

Is there a registry?
Answer
Your presence is the greatest gift of all! However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated as we have limited space on our travels back to Nova Scotia.
