Signal Hill is a historic site in St. John's that has a beautiful hiking trail that loops from the top of the hill down to the Battery, an old fishing village at the base of the hill overlooking St. John's harbour.
Gros Morne National Park is located on the west coast of Newfoundland, about a 7 hour drive from St. John's / 3 hour drive from Port Aux Basque. There are a number of hiking trails, boat tours and other outdoor activities here. It is breathtakingly beautiful! If you are travelling across the island it is a must see!
