Hi I’m Kathleen, I have the great privilege of being Alicia’s maid of honour. Alicia and I met during our undergrads at Guelph where we played on the Quidditch team together. She is, and will always be, the most valuable player on the pitch and in our hearts. Sadly, I now live so far away from Alicia. I live in St. John’s, Newfoundland and I work for Fisheries and Oceans Canada as a Biologist. Hobbies include: healing a broken ankle and becoming a bionic woman, shoveling 2m high snow in 80km winds, and puking my guts out on offshore science boat trips. I also love to read and especially enjoy bookclub with Alicia and our other Quid-rat friends. I can’t wait to celebrate the beautiful bride and groom in person next summer! It’s gunna be the party of a lifetime, and Alicia is going to be the most stunning bride we’ve ever seen! See you there!

I’m Natasha, and I’ve known Alicia for as long as I’ve been on this earth ! Alicia and I are cousins and have been long distance besties for much of our lives. I’m lucky to share memories of beach days, scary movie nights, one (1) broken bone, and many many sleepovers with her ❤. From getting ready to walk the virtual runway on Stardoll.com to getting ready for her to walk down the aisle, I am thrilled to cheer her on every step of the way!! Scott met Matt in high school, but their friendship really blossomed thanks to their mutual appreciation of the 2011 single, The Show Goes On, by Lupe Fiasco. Though they went separate ways after high school, they maintained a strong friendship when Scott would continually come visit Matt at McMaster, getting into shenanigans not appropriate for this little blurb. (St Patrick’s day 2012 can never be spoken of) Matt decided to move to Calgary where their friendship was tested further, but it’s all okay because Matt found his wife to be, Alicia, out in that cold awful far away tundra. Scott and his fiancé Kylie just finished a trip to Las Vegas with Alicia and Matt, but we can never speak of what happened there. (Vegas wasn’t ready for us) Matt will also be proudly standing beside Scott on his wedding day, Sept 21st 2024.

Rob Burgis has been Matt Wong's handsomest friend for nearly 10 years. They met in a pub through a mutual friend and bonded very quickly over their shared love of music. The fact that they both liked very different styles of music was in no way a hindrance as it not only allowed them to broaden their horizons, but really get to understand the other through the music they cared about the most. Rob lives in Calgary with his wife Sarah, their cat, and their dogs whom Matt and Alicia watch from time to time. When Sarah and Matt first met they became instant friends bonding over ludicrous made up scenarios. And when Rob and Sarah finally met Alicia they could tell immediately that she was more than suited to keep up with his insanity and would be a great fit for all of his friends and loved ones as well.

Jeff is the groom's brother. So naturally he’s known him his whole life and has a slew of embarrassing stories. When he’s not out climbing outside, you’ll find him at the bar out drinking Alicia’s family.

Paul Kerrigan is a long-time friend of Matt's, starting as adversaries in high school and later becoming roommates at university. Today, Paul and his wife, Allison, live on a peaceful property near Wyoming, Ontario, with their one-year-old son, Henry, their dog, Koda, and a charming flock of ten chickens. When Paul and Allison met Alicia at their wedding, everyone who attended couldn't help but notice the strong connection between Matt and Alicia, and all agreed that they were crazy… for each other.
