we recommend arriving around 2:45. this will give you time to park, mingle, sign the guest book, and find a seat before it starts. guests are welcome as early as 2:30.

yes, you will be able to leave your car at the venue if you choose to (and if you drink too much, someone will make you!). however, neither the venue nor the couple can be held liable for any lost or damaged goods.
absolutely! you will have no trouble finding a ride at any time.
both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. there is no cover for the ceremony, but there is a large tent for the reception. we do have a rain plan in place in the event there is rain.
north carolina weather can be very unpredictable. october tends to be the most beautiful time of the year (in fact, our favorite time of year). temperatures can range from mid-50s to high 70s, and the morning temperature is usually much lower than what it will be in the afternoon. we highly recommend that you pack layers! if the weather is particularly cold that day, we will have heaters inside of our reception tent, and blankets during our ceremony. essentially, check the weather before you go!
the dress code will be semi-formal wedding attire (no halloween costumes).
there are plenty of accessible paths designed to circumvent any stairs you may encounter at the venue. the venue is mostly flat, but bear in mind that it is compromised of mostly dirt pathways and grass. with consideration to footwear, we highly recommend flat shoes, wedges, or wide heels.
we love your kids! however, we can only accommodate the individuals explicitly listed on your RSVP form.
just as with kids, we can only accommodate those explicitly listed on your RSVP form (which may say "guest" in lieu of a name).
