Things To Do

We are some of the world's biggest fans of our city of Milwaukee and have a few recommendations of things to do while you're here!

Black Husky Brewing

909 East Locust Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212
, (414) 763-4141

We went here on our first date. Very close to the city, Black Husky is a Milwaukee staple and one of our favorite places. Think: dogs + beer. Enough said!

Kilbourn Reservoir Park

2230 North Bremen Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212
, (414) 286-2830

This is where we got engaged! Probably the best view of the city and is close to some breweries, coffee shops, and green space to hike, run, or sit on a park bench.

Donut Squad

2264 North Prospect Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53202
, (414) 628-0833

If you like donuts, you'll love Donut Squad, who's got fun toppings, amazing dough, and excellent service. Also serving Colectivo coffee (which is conveniently located a block south)!

Stone Creek Coffee - Downer Cafe & Kitchen

2650 North Downer Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53211
, (414) 210-3686

Great coffee and even better breakfast sandwiches! You'll love their patio seating and can finish up your trip with a walk down to the lakefront.

Milwaukee Art Museum

700 North Art Museum Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53202
, (414) 224-3200

MAM has excellent exhibits and is reasonably priced. With some exhibits that rotate and some that are permanent, you're sure to find something that speaks to you. Take a short walk around O'Donnell Park just west or head south to Lakeshore State Park for a longer loop.

Seven Bridges

Seven Bridges Trail, South Milwaukee, WI 53172

If you're itching to get outside and love haunted woods, you need to check out Grant Park and Seven Bridges Trail. You'll see a mix of lakeshore bluffs, creeks, and heavily wooded trails and can drive south on Lake Drive to see South Milwaukee and beyond.

For all the days along the way
