Matt and Christine officially met on eHarmony and hit it off immediately on their first date. Before their first actual conversation, Christine had been admiring Matt from a distance at an event through their parish and during the sign of peace at Mass (tough to miss a handsome, 6'7", bearded guy like him) and was praying for a chance to meet this mystery man. Once they met, sparks flew, and the compatibility of their personalities, senses of humor (i.e. Matt's puns and Christine's weird songs), interests, family, and faith only helped build a foundation of love that has grown over the course of their relationship. Matt popped the question on top of their favorite hill in Milwaukee, Kilbourn Park, and without hesitation, Christine said yes! When Fr. John Baumgardner, their celebrant, made it known that June 4, 2021 was available as a date, they knew it was meant to be, since both the bride and the groom's parents were married on June 4 at 2 pm 6 years apart. While their plans are not what they expected their wedding to look like, Matt and Christine are so excited to be able to celebrate twice, once on their official wedding day, and once at a one year anniversary party. You will find information for the anniversary party, held 6/4/22, all over this website. Thank you for not only being a part of their big day(s), but more importantly, for helping these two grow into the man and woman who are mosaics of all of the people who love and support them. They are so thrilled to be able to share the joy that is truly the first of many amazing days.
