Elisabeth (aka Elo) and Alex have been best friends since high school, when they bonded over being locked in the Covington Latin School vestibule together after volleyball practice. She is currently a kick-ass lawyer in Chicago, but that doesn't stop her from always being there for Alex's big moments.

Dmitry (aka Mitya) is Mark's younger brother and an overall mensch. He was born when Mark was twelve, and the two brothers have had the unique opportunity of watching each other grow up. Dmitry is currently a junior at a Massachusetts high school, and he also learned to drive before Mark did.

Jake is one of Alex and Mark’s best friends, and is the perfect person to officiate their wedding. Alex met Jake at the school they taught at together, and they bonded over the trials and tribulations that came with that job. Jake was fast friends with Alex and then with Mark, and he has become an integral part of their lives. Jake is also an honorary member of the Trunnell Family. #Chuckatwo

Joe and Alex have been friends since college, first meeting when they worked together at the Vassar College observatory. When they both ended up in Boston the friendship continued, stronger than ever, and Joe was there that fateful night when Mark and Alex officially met. Joe is now one of Mark's best friends too, and all three of them enjoy playing board games together and chatting about online trivia leagues.
Lilly Trunnell

The oldest Trunnell Girl, Lilly has literally been a part of Alex's life since she was born. As Lilly and Alex have grown up and become adults, they have rediscovered how nice it is to have a sister you can turn to for anything, and have become closer than ever. Lilly currently lives in Jersey City with her partner Joseph, and Alex enjoys visiting them whenever she can.
Rebekah Trunnell

Rebekah is the youngest Trunnell Girl. Much like with Lilly, she and Alex have grown closer as they have become adults; Rebekah is an excellent letter writer, and nothing makes Alex happier than receiving a beautiful envelope with her handwriting on it. Rebekah currently lives in Northern Kentucky with her fiancé Patrick, and Alex has had a blast sharing the wedding planning experience with her.
Helen Kramer

Helen has been Alex's friend since Alex started grad school with Helen's husband, Jason. After Helen moved to Boston to be closer to Jason, she and Alex were fast friends; they bonded over a mutual love of The Bachelor, crafting, interior design, and more. Alex was a bridesmaid in Helen's wedding, and she is so excited that now Helen will be a part of her big day! Also gotta mention to Jaida, Helen's adorable daughter, who Alex loves very much.
Bailey Lanier

Bailey met Alex through her partner Dustin, who Alex befriended while teaching at Meridian. Much like with Helen, Alex and Bailey grew their own friendship as well. Bailey's favorite memory with Alex is watching old TLC wedding shows, drinking wine, ordering takeout, and gossiping at a sleepover. The energy was unmatched, the stories we told were incredible, and she 10/10 would have an old school style girls night sleepover with Alex again.
Tiamara Whetstone

Tia and Alex have been friends basically since Alex moved to Boston. They met through mutual friend Nick, and since then, have formed a strong friendship of their own. Tia's favorite memory with Alex is the famous Drunken Maiden Cake; after a night out on the town, they returned to Alex's apartment determined to bake a cake despite a definitive lack of ingredients. But they were only emboldened by this setback, and powered through to create an apple cake that can only be described as "edible and perhaps even.... good?"

Corinne and Alex have been friends since college, where they met working at Vassar's Observatory. Corinne and Alex bonded via musicals and fantasy fashion, and rekindled their friendship after they both moved to Boston after graduation. Corinne is now a standard part of the trivia team that brought Alex and Mark together. Her favorite memory with Alex is of the numerous times they wound up at UpC, the campus milkshake bar, together late at night after a shift at the observatory.
Nora Molasky

Nora and Alex have known each other since college, when they were selected to be roommates. Nora took a gap year and Alex started college early, but the honestly-kinda-hilarious age gap between them was no match for the friendship they would form. Nora now lives in Seattle with her partner Aaron, another close friend of Alex's.
Lindsay Charlop

Lindsay is another college friend of Alex's. Affectionately know as Win Win, she and Alex were fast friends who only grew closer through the years; from chats in the stairwell about life to long nights drinking a mysterious liquid out of a bucket, Alex and Lindsay have been through it all. Lindsay currently lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband Sean, another great friend of Alex's.
