The Wedding Website of Mariah Duffy and Ryan Phillips
Fly right into Missoula Int'l Airport, serviced by Alaska, American, Delta and United. Downtown is only 10 minutes by car. If you plan to visit Yellowstone, Bozeman is the closest airport to the Park and about 3 hours by car to Missoula. If you're a fan of the show Yellowstone, just don't mention it to Mariah :) Montana is known for its vastness, so booking a rental car would certainly help you to see more of the surrounding area. Otherwise, ride share apps are available in town, and we will be providing shuttle service to/from the venue for the main event. If you are planning a trip to Glacier National Park, PLEASE read the info under "Things To Do" about it for travel info.

Flight

Missoula International Airport

While this is the closest airport (10 min from downtown Missoula, you could also fly into Bozeman and get a rental car (3 hours away) if you're checking out Yellowstone National Park.

Travel Note

How do I get to Missoula from the Airport?

Missoula has Uber, Lyfts and taxis. A trip from the airport to downtown Missoula will run you $25-35 and is a ten minute drive. Mountain Line (Missoula's public transportation service) provides daily zero-fare bus service daily to and from Missoula Montana Airport on Route 11, the final stop at the Transfer Center at Ryman St/W Pine St., in the heart of downtown and only a 10 minute walk to the Holiday Inn Downtown. It runs to and from every hour. See schedule in the link below that says "View". Some hotels in town also offer an airport shuttle.

Hotel

Hotel block available!

We have set up a room block at the Holiday Inn Downtown, with a $289/nt rate. Click the "View" button bellow for reservations. It's a busy weekend in the Zoo, so this rate is subject to change if you don't book in the next few months. **Since the website will only work for 8/9-10, we recommend calling the hotel directly (406-721-8550) for the "Duffy-Phillips Wedding" if you plan to stay there beyond Friday/Saturday nights. Other options: The Wren downtown is a funky little boutique and is priced similarly. A new hotel is opening in May called the Loge and is a great location and has a fun outdoorsy vibe to it and is currently priced at $225/night. The Goldsmith River Front Inn/B&B is also just outside downtown and has some quaint rooms and great river views!

Travel Note

Looking into Airbnb/Vrbo?

A great way to enjoy Missoula is a vacation rental, if staying a bit longer. For those wanting to stay in and walk around the heart of Missoula, Mariah recommends staying in the downtown/Hip Strip area (east of Orange St, west of Madison St, north of Connell St, south of Alder St.) The University District is nearby and also quite nice, but you'll likely want a car. **See last photo on gallery page for a visual of the area I'm describing. For those looking for more mountains, try the Rattlesnake Canyon!
