RYAN: It was the Saturday afternoon of the long Thanksgiving weekend. I had told my roommate Tyler, still recovering from his most recent knee surgery, that I'd pick him up at the train station after his flight back from Naperville. I'd just finished work so thought I'd grab a pint on a sunny patio while I waited. Needless to say, I got comfortable and Tyler ended up having to make his crippled way over to the brewery on foot to join me. MARIAH: Molly & I were sitting at a brewery having a beer and soaking up some uncommonly great weather for late November. She pointed out a few cute guys sitting at a patio table outside and we had a bartender/friend send them a few pints. I called dibs the one on the right (Ryan). RYAN: Having seen a hundred movie scenes that started this way, I knew the suave move was to have the server pass it along that we had two open seats at our table. That was the first & last time I've ever had to be cool & confident when meeting a lady. MARIAH: In what was likely quite irresponsible (considering a global pandemic), we accepted their invitation and joined them. We chatted and giggled for a few hours and eventually exchanged digits. The rest is history!

Without any context, there are two amazing men, Andy Laue and Rafael Chacon, who've built up their ranch outside Missoula. Each of them is an accomplished, intriguing and truly brilliant man who together have graciously opened their home to us for this occasion. As long-time friends of the Duffy family, their generous offer to host this special day still leaves us forever grateful. This place is the epitome of Mariah's Montana and for one glorious night, it will be ours.
