Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than June 1, 2024.

Can I bring a date/ my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to limited space at our venue we request that only those specifically invited attend.

I have dietary restrictions/ food allergies, how can I disclose them?

Answer

Please let us know of any dietary restrictions or allergies you have in your RSVP. We will do everything we can to accommodate you!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence on our big day is all we could ever ask for, however if you wish to help us celebrate with a gift, we would appreciate a contribution towards our European honeymoon! Instead of physical gifts, we look forward to making life long memories together in Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, and Ireland. We have also made a small registry through Amazon if you would prefer.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block of rooms put aside at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Sherwood Park. If you choose to book a room, you may use the following code: MSR Go to Hilton.com, enter Sherwood Park in the Where to? field and your dates. Click on Special Rates/Group Code and enter MSR. On JUN 7, all unreserved rooms in the group block will automatically release.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is parking at our venue and an attendant will show you where you can park upon arrival. Vehicles cannot stay over night at Lions Garden.

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! Because there is no overnight parking, and our venue is a little bit too far out of the city for an Uber, we will have a shuttle leaving from Hampton Inn by Hilton Sherwood Park to our venue at 2:30 pm, and shuttles returning to the hotel at 11:00 pm and 12:45 am. It is about a 30 minute drive from the hotel to Lions Garden. Please let us know if you are interested in the shuttle service in your RSVP.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting), while our reception will be indoors. You will be walking on grass and gravel to move around our venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm! Please be there with enough time to be in your seats before we begin. It is a beautiful location with lots to see, so don't be afraid to come a little early!

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be 1 hour between the end of our ceremony and when the doors to our reception open. Lawn games and refreshments will be served in front of the barn during this time.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We love a great party as much as anyone! Please plan for safe transportation home.

Question

What time does your reception end?

Answer

Last call will be at midnight, the bar will close at 12:30 am, and our last shuttle will be leaving at 12:45 am. We ask for everyone to head home by 1 am!
