Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal/Dress Casual- don't stress too much, we want you to be comfortable and have the best time at the wedding without worrying about what you wear! If you feel good, you look good!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

At this time, the wedding is an adult-only event. We appreciate you understanding and hope you can still come and celebrate!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you were allotted a plus one, it will say on your invitation. That being said, if you would like to bring someone to the wedding who was not invited please reach out to us individually to see what we can do!

Question

Where should we stay/lodging?

Answer

We have a room block for guests at the Mt Princeton Hot Springs Resort. More information about booking under the room block is on the tab labeled “Travel/Accommodations”

Question

Do we need to rent a car?

Answer

If you are coming from out of state, we recommend renting a car as it is the easiest way to get from the airport to the resort where the wedding will take place. There are also a lot of different activities to do in Buena Vista and Salida, if you would like to check those out, having a car would be the easiest way as it is a remote area where Uber and Lyft are not reliable.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

All lodging on Mt Princeton is a walkable distance to the ceremony/reception site which is also a part of Mt Princeton. If you have a car, you can drive down and park at the main building parking lot which is just to the left of the reception area. If you are staying somewhere in Buena Vista offsite, there is no transportation provided. This is a rural area in the mountains, Uber and Lyft are very infrequent and unreliable.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking all around the hot springs resort! We recognize that Labor Day weekend is a busy weekend for the hot springs, we recommend that guest show up on Friday at least to get good parking next to the place they are sleeping. The venue is walking distance from everyone’s room on the resort as well :)

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know on your RSVP of any food allergies or special preference (i.e. vegetarian, vegan, etc.) that we should be aware of.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We have a private pool party on Friday evening to welcome all of our guests for making the trip out to the mountains for our wedding! Please come and enjoy the mountain view and good company!

Question

Which airport do I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Denver at DEN international Airport. There is an airport in Montrose that would be a longer drive to the venue. There’s also an airport in Colorado Springs, flights tend to be higher when flying there, but it saves you about an hour of time of your drive to the venue.

Question

Will there be food at the welcome party on Friday?

Answer

Yes! Small bites will be provided by us at the welcome party and there will be a cash bar as well!

For all the days along the way
