Wedding Party

Meet our friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Anna Heflin

Maid of Honor

Anna and Rachel met their first day of kindergarten! From art gallery hopping to The Bachelor wine viewing nights, these two could talk for hours about anything and everything. Rachel will always remember the night the two of them got Ramen before Lowell and Rachel's first date, and as always, Anna has been an incredibly supportive friend throughout their relationship.

Chandler Iorio

Best Man

Chandler and Lowell met in seventh grade English class. Since then, the two did just about everything together - but really. Funny enough, they even wrote a horror feature film script together. It is very bad, but who knows, if you’re lucky, they might just perform a scene from it at the wedding.

Brittany Carava

Bridesmaid

Brittany and Rachel also met their first day of kindergarten! They have stayed very close friends through the years, and they were lucky enough to choose the University of San Diego for college without one another's knowledge. They later became roommates for a year, and are just as close now as they ever were. You're most likely to see the two of them bonding over Disneyland trips!

Brad Voreis

Groomsman

Lowell met Brad on the Denison University swimming team. They were both in the sprint group which means they had less yardage to do during practices and more time for goofing off. Lowell’s fondest moment with Brad was when they both were on the winning 800 freestyle relay team at the NCAA D-III National swim meet.

Mary Reidy

Bridesmaid

Mary and Rachel met in sixth grade, and immediately became inseparable. They spent most summers as teens accompanying Rachel's Mom, Amy, on her summer business trips to London. They even shared a summer internship at Kensington Palace where they were locked into Princess Margaret's rooms together to catalogue the Royal Costume Collection. They also shared years of incredible coordinated Halloween costumes, which are still talked about today.

George Karas

Groomsman

Lowell met George very early on in life because George is actually Lowell’s uncle! Lowell’s favorite memory with George includes visits to LA, and staging award winning plays in George’s backyard in Tarzana. Now, living on the same coast, in the same city, Lowell and George are able to see each other much more often which makes Lowell very happy - George not so much (joking).

Molly Folsom

Bridesmaid

Molly is Rachel's oldest friend. They were introduced just days after Rachel was born, and practically have been family ever since. From Backstreet Boys Karaoke in Molly's living room; endless nights scootering around the Huntington; and expertly planned, outfit coordinated, Disneyland trips, these two are still wonderfully close friends today. Today most likely you will find them comparing the best boutique hotels in Southern California.

Jeff Skladzien

Groomsman

Lowell and Jeff met in college when they were paired up as weight partners for the Denison University swimming team. They became roommates the very next year. For being a pretty serious guy, Jeff would love to play jokes on Lowell, and Lowell would do the same to Jeff. Lowell and Jeff were reunited when they lived together in San Diego for a few months prior to Lowell beginning grad school.

Nicolette Shutty

Bridesmaid

Nicolette became one of Rachel's first and closest college friends when they were both cast as identical twin, large Russian men in the University fall play, The Government Inspector. They immediately bonded over their shared love of vintage clothing, Old Hollywood, Halloween, and Disney. Since they both moved to Los Angeles after college, they've been attempting to visit every famous Old Hollywood hotspot left in the city.

Stephen Hu

Groomsman

Lowell met Stephen at the Old Globe MFA program in San Diego. Lowell’s favorite moments with Stephen include goofing around backstage right before rehearsal entrances for Much Ado About Nothing. Lowell and Stephen are big foodies, as well as gardeners, and always host each other for home cooked meals. Stephen is always the better chef... whatever Stephen.

Sandra Cooper

Bridesmaid

Sandra and Rachel were lucky enough to become close friends through their sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. They spent their last week of finals senior year trying to rank the best brunch spot in San Diego. If you ask them, they are torn between The Cottage and Snooze Del Mar, which they still frequent when they can. They catch up weekly via FaceTime, are dedicated to planning trips to visit one as often as possible another, and are just as close friends as ever!

Will Vogel

Groomsman

Lowell met Will through the Denison University swimming team (sensing a theme here?). Being in the same graduating class, Will and Lowell became roommates the remainder of college and remained good friends when they both lived in New York City after college.

Zoe Goetzmann

Bridesmaid

Zoe and Rachel became instant friends in middle school when Zoe hit Rachel on the head with a flashlight during a game of flashlight tag. Though the bump wore off, the friendship stuck, and Zoe and Rachel were lucky enough to continue on to high school together, as well. Whenever she can, Rachel loves adventuring with Zoe in her new home city of London. Rachel can't wait to visit Zoe's new gallery, The Artist Workspace Gallery!
