How do I RSVP?
Answer
1. Please click “RSVP” in the navigation menu at the top of our website. 2. Enter your first and last name, making sure you enter your name the same way that it appears on your invitation. If you're RSVPing for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for the entire group by entering only your first and last name. 3. Click Will Attend or Will Not Attend next to each name on the RSVP. If the box is a darker color - it means you've selected it!

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at 4:30 pm. The ceremony will start at 5 pm sharp!

What should I wear?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal / cocktail attire. Think cocktail or floor length dresses and suits (tie optional).

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Welcome to New York City! The weather here can be quite unpredictable. During the day in September, the weather should average 65-75 degrees, but can be much warmer or cooler, you really never know! Definitely bring a layer in case it gets chilly!

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Yes! There is an elevator to the ceremony space, which is on the 5th floor. The venue also has a second floor and roof deck that are only accessible by stairs, however all main events will take place on the main floor.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will take place indoors. There is a roof deck at the venue that will be open during the reception (weather permitting).

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Answer
Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. However, we would love for you to take photos during the reception!

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Please indicate when you RSVP of any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Is there transportation being provided between the reception and hotels?
Answer
We are not arranging transportation to/from the venue. We would recommend taking an uber/lyft/taxi or public transportation (for those feeling adventurous)!

Where should I park?
Answer
There is a parking garage near the venue - MPG Parking - located at 21 India Street. There should also be street parking available, just make sure to check the parking signs for any rules, especially regarding overnight parking.

Will I have to pay for parking?
Answer
While some street parking may be free, you should expect that you will need to pay for parking if driving to the venue.
Question
I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
Answer
We are reserving a block of rooms at several hotels close to the venue. Hotel specifics will be provided soon. Of course, you are welcome to stay wherever you like. Feel free to contact us if you have questions about where to stay.

Are the ceremony and reception held in the same location?
Answer
Yes! Both will be at Greenpoint Loft.

Will your last names be changing after the wedding?
Answer
They will not! We will remain Lori Shapiro and Cameron Bybee after the wedding.
