Flight
Athens International Airport & Naxos Island Airport
From wherever you are coming from, find your way to Athens International Airport (ATH). From ATH, you can travel to the port to catch a ferry, or you grab another quick 30-40 min flight to Naxos Airport (JNX). We recommend to fly to save time, but if you don't like small planes, we recommend to ferry! If you ferry, you will need to get transportation from Athens airport to the port; there are multiple options of transportation to the port.

Ferry
If you elect to ferry to Naxos, it is beautiful when you arrive. As you pull up to the island, you are welcomed by the Temple of Apollo and Chora, Naxos main town. Make sure to reserve your ferry tickets well in advance as they can book up and please pay attention to ferry times. Use the website below to view ferry options and purchase your tickets. You can also use this ferry site to island hop after the wedding!

Naxos Rental
There will be transportation to and from the wedding at a main stop in Chora and Chora is mostly walkable. If you want to travel to other towns or the beaches in Naxos, there is a bus system but we recommend to rent a vehicle. There are many places to rent cars / ATVs / etc from when you arrive to Naxos and we highly recommend getting transportation because it is such a large island and much to explore outside of our wedding. It is mandatory that you have an international driver permit (IDP) and you MUST get this before arriving internationally as the permit ships to your home address. It takes a couple weeks in advance so please look into times in advance so you do not arrive without a permit as you will not be able to rent a vehicle if you do not have one. We encourage everyone to make this trip what you want it to be and to research places that you would love to stay in! It would be best for you to stay in Chora, main town of Naxos. Chora is very walkable and where our events are. You can use a car or the bus system to get to other towns and the beaches. This is a great budget boutique spot where we stayed on our first trip to Naxos; a little on the edge of Chora but walking distance to everything you need. Nektarios was a wonderful host. There will be a transportation stop in Chora to the wedding ceremony, so if you don't stay in Chora, make sure you are able to get to our transportation or get to the wedding.
