Our Story
So, how did it all start?
As luck would have it, we actually met in November of 2021 at Summer's best friend's wedding in San Diego, CA (shoutout to Kate & Alex Perkins, both in our wedding party!). After one - or two - rejections from Summer, Adam remained persistent and ended up flying from Denver to Austin that very next weekend to visit her.
To the shock and awe of her friends, who had never seen her do an outdoor activity in their lives, Summer moved to Denver to be with Adam nearly 8 months later - but that didn't stop of us from continuing to travel, whether it be across the country or making our way through Italy one gelato at a time.
We've been living in Colorado together ever since, and while Summer has found herself skiing, hiking, and camping far more than she ever would have thought, you can usually find us drinking an Aperol together after Adam finishes whatever he's up to that day (Ironman's, heliskiing, and mountain-climbing, only among the many).
The day after we got engaged! A quiet weekend in Vail together did just the trick to soak it in together and celebrate.
