What’s the attire for the Wedding?
Answer
We love color, so feel free to rock your brightest (although a LBD is a timeless classic we'll always support). We recommend formal attire - so long dresses for the ladies and suits for the guys - but really we're just excited to spend time with you, so wear something that makes you feel your best! The ceremony will be on grass, so take that into account. There is an indoor backup plan in case of rain. It can get chilly at night in the mountains as well (there are heaters for cocktail hour and the reception!).

We're keeping it casual with the Welcome Dinner. Feel free to come as you are and get ready for lots of pizza, beer, and love (there will be a few other options beyond pizza and beer, including non-alcoholic drinks).

While we love kiddos, this is an adults-only affair. Consider it your night off to relax and indulge a little bit!

Can I take pictures?

We're having an unplugged ceremony (trust us - we have it well covered), so we kindly ask for no cell phone use during the ceremony. But feel free to take as many photos as you want during cocktail hour and the reception and don't forget to share all your pics with us!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! The venue has space for 60 cars with an additional 25 in an overflow section, so find your people and carpool! Please keep in mind the road to the venue is steep and windy, so if you plan to imbibe, make sure to have a designated driver or use the provided transportation. There is limited availability for rideshare apps at the venue.

So what's the deal with transportation?
Answer
For people who indicated on their RSVP that they would like to use the provided transportation from Courtyard Marriott Boone to Overlook Barn, the buses will be at Courtyard at 3:00 pm for a 3:30 departure time. It takes roughly 45 minutes to wind up the mountain. Buses will then depart Overlook around 10:30 pm at the end of the night and return to Courtyard Marriott.
