*DINNER* Downtown. This sushi is the best you will get in Pittsburgh (and maybe ever...we're serious). Their creativity is unmatched. You will for sure try something you have never experienced before here. Nab a reservation quick!
Poulet Bleu
*DINNER* in Lawrenceville. A French favorite in our neighborhood! Their bistro atmosphere is adorable and chic, and the food is incredible to boot. Reservations are recommended for a table, but you can typically walk in and sit at the bar.
Gaucho Parrilla Argentina
*DINNER* Downtown. This Argentinian wood-grilled meats fare is Conor's favorite restaurant in the city. We celebrate all of Conor's major events here like new jobs and birthdays!
Pusadee's Garden
*DINNER* in Upper Lawrenceville. A gorgeous newly-renovated Thai restaurant -- Conor and I love to celebrate major life events here. This is where Lauren and Conor went when Lauren finished her PhD.
Umami
*DINNER* in Lawrenceville. Japanese street food, very chic restaurant and bar! Another top favorite of ours in our neighborhood. Conor and Lauren celebrated Lauren's first job offer post-grad school here.
The Andy Warhol Museum
*MUSEUM* in North Side near our wedding venue! Conor and Lauren went here during the first weekend Conor came to visit Lauren in the city in 2017.
SMOKE
*BRUNCH*, *DINNER* in Lawrenceville. SMOKE specializes in incredible tacos, but they also have the BEST donuts on Sunday mornings! They only make donuts on Sundays and only offer their glazed and one specialty flavor for the week. These are a must-have according to Conor & Lauren.
Hot Haute Hot Inc
*SHOPPING* in the Strip District. One of our favorite spots for home decor items and jewelry. The whole shop is such a fun vibe. We try to take all of our visitors to this store! This is a nice 17 minute walk from the hotels to the shop.
Roxanne's Dried Flowers
*SHOPPING* in the Strip District. This is another place you have to visit in the Strip District if you make it to Hot Haute Hot. Beautiful dried flowers and plants!
Condado Tacos
*LUNCH*, *DINNER* Downtown. A 4 minute walk from the hotels, and a delicious fast tacos and margaritas spot. The atmosphere is very fun as well
Sienna Mercato
*LUNCH*, *DINNER*, *DRINKS* Downtown. A 6 minute walk from the hotels. Italian fare and rooftop bar! Make reservations for the middle level (Mezzo), which has more upscale food. The bottom floor (Emporio) has a more casual fare with meatballs that Conor loves.
Bakersfield
*LUNCH*, *DRINKS*, *DINNER* Downtown. A 6 minute walk from the hotels, yummy tacos and margs! Fun bar atmosphere. Can get crowded

De Fer Coffee & Tea
*COFFEE*, *DRINKS* in the Strip District. We love this coffee shop. This is the shop that carried Lauren through finishing her dissertation edits -- vibes are very good.
Pamela's Diner
*BREAKFAST* in the Strip District. A classic Pittsburgh scene with great diner fare. Their specialty is the incredible thin and stuffed hotcakes
Bar Marco
*DINNER* in the Strip District. Small menu and renowned chef in Pittsburgh. Curated wine list as well. Fun local spot! We celebrated Conor's job offer at ADP here!
Coop De Ville
*LUNCH*, *DINNER*, *HANGS*, *DRINKS* in the Strip District. Fried chicken, drinks, duck pin bowling, and arcade games! Great for big groups.
Wigle Whiskey Distillery
*LUNCH*, *HANGS*, *DINNER* in the Strip District. Not only a whiskey distillery, but they also have a really great food menu
DiAnoia's Eatery
*DINNER*, *BREAKFAST*, *LUNCH* in the Strip District. Conor and Lauren love this restaurant. Really delicious--and might we say authentic--Italian food. Conor and Lauren came here after their Switzerland-Italy summer 2022 trip to reminisce and it surely hit the spot. This is a highly coveted spot in Pittsburgh.
Cinderlands Warehouse
*DRINKS*, *LUNCH*, *DINNER* in the Strip District. Good beers and good food not too far from the hotels! Nice open spot with two levels. A great space for big groups
Salem Market & Grill
*LUNCH*, quick *DINNER* in the Strip District. Really delicious Middle Eastern food. Reasonable prices, quick counter service, nice eating space -- another great place for a quick bite! Conor attests these are the best cheesesteaks in Pittsburgh.
Lola's Eatery
*BREAKFAST* in Lawrenceville. Great bagels and bagel sandwiches! They also have homemade donuts that tend to sell out.
Con Alma Downtown
*DRINKS*, *DINNER* Jazz bar Downtown -- honestly Conor and Lauren have been really wanting to make it here and we still haven't, but it's high on our list because we've heard its such an amazing experience with really talented jazz musicians.

*DINNER*, *LUNCH* Downtown. Great tacos and drinks! Small atmosphere so it can get crowded, but they take reservations. They have a grilled octopus taco that is soo good.
Merchant Oyster Co.
*LUNCH*, *DINNER* in Lawrenceville. One of Lauren's favorites! Get the oysters (of course) and a warm lobster roll!
The Vandal
*DINNER* in Lawrenceville. Conor and I love this place. The chef is so nice, the menu is so intentional and constantly rotating, and the service is great. The wine list is so unique. It's newly renovated inside too -- gorgeous all around.
