If you have any additional questions besides the ones answered below, please feel free to reach out to Conor or Lauren directly!
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. Tuxes and gowns would be lovely, as would cocktail dresses and suits with ties. Dress warm for winter in Pittsburgh!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Most likely very chilly! It will likely be between 21 and 33 degrees F. Bundle up! It's hit or miss whether there will be snow on the ground.

Question

Are there wedding blocks where we should stay?

Answer

Yes! AC Hotel and Hampton Inn & Suites are our hotel blocks. See the Travel tab on our website for all of the details.

Question

Where is the after party?

Answer

The top floor bar of the AC Hotel, Level 7 Lounge!

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony (6:00-6:30pm) will be on the top floor of Museum Lab. There is an elevator for those that need it, though we kindly ask that guests take the stairs to the third floor if they are able. There will be a cocktail hour (6:30-7:30) in the halls of Museum Lab after the ceremony. From there, we will walk across the sidewalk to the Children's Museum for dinner and dancing.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you can make it by using the "RSVP" tab on our website by December 10, 2022.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed for sure! Please RSVP "no" as soon as you are aware so that we can plan accordingly.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We will have a shuttle that will pick guests up at the hotels and drop them off at the Museum Lab. However, if you prefer to drive, the parking lot for the Children's Museum & Museum Lab is free for us as guests.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Wheelchair accessible ramps are at 6 Allegheny Square East which lead to the front entrance and right (south) side of Museum Lab. There is also an elevator within Museum Lab. The Children’s Museum’s main entrance at 10 Children’s Way is wheelchair accessible as well. Please let Conor or Lauren know if you have any questions or need any accommodations.
