The river has 60 different species of bird, and is the best place to see the beautiful Scarlet Macaw. The crocodile tour takes place at Tárcoles Río Grande. It will offer to the visitors the opportunity to observe American crocodile (Crocodylae, C. acutus), with more of 4 meters length. You will also observe iguanas and hundreds of different species from resident and migratory, terrestrial or coastal birds. Jump aboard a cruise and set off on a full day of exciting outdoor activities. Enjoy the thrill of snorkeling, ride the banana boat, explore the island trails, or just relax with an ice cold drink on the white sand beach. Isla Tortuga is just 55 minutes ride from Los Sueños Marina. Pick up time: 7:00am Return: 4:00PM Price: $158 Includes: Transportation from and back to our resort, light breakfast on boat (fruits, coffee and muffins) On the Island includes: Lunch (rice and grilled chicken, sautéed potatoes, 2 kind of salads), soft drinks, margaritas and rum punch (for free) Also includes: 3 activities (nature trail, banana boat and snorkeling tour). Carara National Park Tour

Cost: $79/pp Carara is a favorite place for bird watchers, besides its ease to access. Its position in a transitional zone means that residents of both habitats are likely to appear. Carara has flora and fauna from both ecosystems (Tropical dry forest region to the north and the more humid Pacific Rain Forest to the south), and the virgin forest that covers the park is the ideal environment for such rare wildlife as the Scarlet Macaw the fire bird Aracari and thee species of monkeys.
