Kahului Airport (OGG)
Kahului (OGG) is the only airport on Maui. There are options for direct flights from many (but not all) major cities in the continental US, however we have shared details below to help you plan. **We suggest booking flights in Oct/Nov 2023** From the Midwest: There are direct flights from Chicago on United Airlines from Thursday to Monday (no direct flights on Tuesday & Wednesday!) and flights on multiple airlines via LA or San Francisco daily. Depending on the airline you may have the option to fly via Honolulu, with a short flight over to Maui. From the East Coast: There are unfortunately no direct flights from the East Coast. There are flights on multiple airlines via Phoenix, Dallas, San Francisco, LA, and Seattle daily. From the West Coast: There are direct flights on multiple airlines from LA, San Francisco, and Seattle daily. From the Southwest: There are direct flights on American and Southwest Airlines from Dallas and Phoenix daily. From the UK: There are unfortunately no direct flights from London. There are flights on multiple airlines via LA and Seattle daily.

While there are Uber & taxi services on the island, we HIGHLY recommend renting/sharing a car. This will provide you the freedom to explore the island and get around easily! **When you leave your car parked at beach parks, hiking trailheads, or on the roadside ensure you do not leave anything in the front or back seats. Unfortunately smash and grabs are super common on the island.

Driving from Kahului to Napili Kai
The drive from Kahului to Napili Kai is between 45 - 55 minutes. We recommend taking HI - 30 S, which is along the ocean and absolutely gorgeous. **If you enter Napili Kai into Google Maps you may see the option to take HI - 340, which takes you along the back side of the island. While the route may appear faster, the roads are incredibly narrow and prone to sudden closure, resulting in hours long delays. Trust us on this one, you do not want to get stuck!

Nāpili Kai Beach Resort
We would love for as many of our guests as possible to stay at Napili Kai. It is situated on a gorgeous beach and is a 3 minute walk to Merriman's. Plus it's one of the only locally, family-owned hotels on this side of the island. We have a room block from Wednesday, 2/28 to Tuesday, 3/5 for studios ($390/night + taxes/fees) and 1-bedroom suites ($590/night + taxes/fees). There is a 2 night deposit required to book the room. The hotel agreed to honor any reservation length that fell +3 days on either side of the 2/28 - 3/5 range based upon availability. If you want to stay longer than the "extended" block the hotel will offer a courtesy rate (most likely 10 – 15% off standard rates) for those dates. Please navigate to the booking form using the "View" link below. This is a fillable form that you do not need to print out, just complete it online via the provided link in DocHub. Please email the form to sales@napilikai.com to book within the room block. Please DO NOT call the hotel directly, as you will not receive the block discount. Rooms need to be booked by January 1st, 2024! *There is a 5 night minimum stay to take advantage of the block discount. You are able to book a room outside the block online or by calling the hotel directly. While you are more than welcome to stay anywhere on the island, we will not be providing transportation for the wedding.

The Mauian is located on the same beach as Napili Kai and is an 8 minute walk to Merriman's. The hotel offers studios (~$350/night + taxes) and one-bedroom suites (~$400/night + taxes).

Montage Kapalua Bay
If you are looking for luxury, the Montage is definitely the spot for you. It is situated on Kapalua Bay and has a gorgeous view of our wedding venue. It is a 5 minute walk along the beach to Merriman's. Rooms start at $1,900+/night.

Honua Kai Resort & Spa
Honua Kai has that large-scale, multiple pools and bars, resort vibe. It is located halfway between downtown Lahaina and Napili Kai. There is no walkable route to Merriman's, but it is a great option for families! Rooms start at $650+/night.

The Westin is centrally located to bars, restaurants, and shopping, while also being situated on the very popular Black Rock Beach. This is another great option for families! There is no walkable route to Merriman's. Rooms start at $700+/night
