Things To Do in Savannah

The Wedding Website of Kyleigh Renee Roberts and Joss Xander Bonner
You will find landmarks on every corner in the Historic Landmark District, the hub of downtown Savannah. Stroll through 22 park squares, explore museums, monuments, boutiques and restaurants. Join a city tour, ghost tour, take a ferry ride on the Savannah River, and soak up the beauty of Savannah’s stunning homes and cobblestone streets. River Street, Savannah City Market and Broughton Street will definitely help you reach your step count goal. For the movie buffs, you have to go visit Chippewa Square where the opening shot from the movie Forrest Gump was filmed. The actual bench is now located in the Savannah History Museum. If time permits, catch a Savannah Bananas baseball game. Most of Savannah's true classic restaurants take a bit of planning to get a reservation, but trust us it is totally worth the effort. Each one is a memorable experience that is special to us.
