Jackie knows Krys from wayyy back to our middle school days. We were both casted as the Cheshire Cat in our middle school play of Alice in Wonderland which is where we became BFFs. We reconnected after college when Jackie briefly moved to San Antonio, and it was like no time passed!
Brandon Meeks

Brandon met Matt back in 6th grade in New Mexico. Brandon was always the friend to come hang out and was up for anything. In fact, Brandon was visiting when COVID shut the world down and got trapped for the duration of it (it ended up being a great time being roommates again). We've been close friends for as long as we can remember!
Taylor Plata

Taylor is Krys' cousin, but has always felt more like a sister! We met back in elementary school when Krys' dad married Taylor's aunt (now Krys' step mom) on a Ferris Wheel at the Katy Rice Harvest Festival. We were always attached at the hip, and it's been amazing getting older together!
John Teltschik
Best Man
Matt and John met in Iron Spikes at UT Austin and it didn't take long for us to become friends, roommates, and more importantly - drinking buddies. John never misses a UT football game and is the type of friend to always make you laugh. We've been to Vegas 7 times together and that's how you know our friendship will last.
Renee Gerald

Renee is Matt's sister, and has quickly become like an older sister to Krys. We met during COVID lockdown while social distancing, and while it was a crazy world back then, we've loved spending weekends, holidays, and everything in between together. Now Krys will be "Auntie" to Renee's kiddos, Clara and Arthur!
Evan Gerald

Evan is Matt's brother-in-law and we've always had a lot in common. We've spent many hours building furniture together, cooking BBQ, and even working together since we're coworkers. We couldn't imagine not having Evan a part of our big day!
JoAnna Putman
Bridesmaid
Krys and Jo met while in college at Texas A&M. We were both counselors for Howdy Camp and spent probably hundreds of hours together planning activities for the campers. We became roommates in college at 503 B Cooner St where we hosted many karaoke parties, bachelor nights, and late night study sessions. Our friendship has always been a constant and JoAnna is the type of friend to always put a smile on your face.

Issac met Matt also in Iron Spikes while attending UT Austin. You can usually find us together at UT football games since our season tickets are next to each other. Isaac is actually getting married this year as well where Matt will be a groomsman as well! We're besties for the restie for sure!
Sydney Wells

Sydney and Krys met freshman year of college in our sorority, Kappa Delta. We were roommates for 2 years filled with all nighter study sessions, wine nights, and endless laughter. Sydney has always been a calm presence to be around and will make you giggle with silly dance moves and witty jokes. Sydney got married November 2022 where Krys helped plan and coordinate her big day! #AOT!!
Thad Ellis

Thad met Matt also in Iron Spikes while attending UT Austin. Thad is an active member in the Navy, and even when there was a 8+ hour time difference between us, he was still a reliable friend and would update us on all of his stories. No matter where he is stationed in the world, Thad is a thoughtful friend who will always been there for us.
Madelyn Morales

Madelyn met Krys in their college sorority, Kappa Delta (she was Sydney's little!). We would hangout together from ice cream trips to margarita flights to even planning sorority date parties together! Madelyn is the type of friend that you don't talk to all the time, but she always shows up when you need her with a hug and a bottle of wine. There is never a dull moment when we're together (especially our random country accents that come out mid conversation!) and our friendship is lifelong. #AOT!!

Stephan met Matt as students at UT Austin when they joined Iron Spikes. Stephan was always the guy to be around for every football game (since he's a HUGE sports fan) and knows how to make a party fun. You can usually find him instigating everyone to take tequila shots with him at the bar.

Olivia is Krystalynn's little sister (14) & Clara is Matt's niece (5) - a dynamic duo perfect for our wedding! Olivia is a book worm and ultimate meme queen, and Clara is super loving with a big personality.
Gareth Gier & Arthur Gerald
Jr. Groomsman & Ring Bearer
Gareth is Krystalynn's little brother (12) & Arthur is Matt's nephew (2) - we couldn't picture anyone else as our ring bearers! Gareth is a silly goose who loves to dance and try new things, and Arthur loves to laugh, see flamingos at the zoo, and throw balls!

Jason is not only family, but also our friend. We couldn't imagine anyone else to marry us! Most recently, we saw Taylor Swift at her Era's Tour concert in Las Vegas which was the BEST time. If you see Jason on the dance floor, make sure to ask him about his good friend Kip!
