Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kristen Brassard and Anthony Carrese
Fall is an absolutely magical time to visit Stowe. We hope many of you will be able to take the opportunity to stay for a few days and enjoy it! Here are just a few of our favorite things to do around town.

Hike Stowe Pinnacle

Stowe, VT 05672

Our favorite hike, right down the road from our house! This is where we went on our third date, where we got engaged, and will set the backdrop to our ceremony. It is a relatively short (about 3 miles total) but steep and challenging hike. There are two trail options. The Pinnacle Meadows trailhead is shorter and a bit easier.

Mountain Bike at Cady Hill

Mountain Rd, Stowe, VT 05672

A fun mountain biking trail network right in the town of Stowe!

Enjoy the Stowe Recreation Path

Stowe Recreation Path, Stowe, VT 05672

Go for a walk or bike ride along the Stowe rec path! This beautiful, 5 mile path goes right through the center of town. You can even hop off the trail to grab a bite or a drink!

Visit Main Street

Main Street, Stowe, VT 05672

Walk along Main Street and check out the shops.

Explore Smugglers Notch

Cambridge, VT 05464

Take a drive through scenic Smuggler's Notch, a windy, mountain pass road through a state park. These will be some of your best foliage views and there are a bunch of places to stop and hike along the way.

Doc Ponds

294 Mountain Road, Stowe, VT 05672

Casual atmosphere, solid food, excellent cocktails.

Plate

91 South Main Street, Stowe, VT 05672

One of our favorite restaurants in Stowe. A bit on the pricier side, but the meals are creative and unique and they source a lot locally. The cocktails are amazing and, whatever you do, do not skip the banana pudding!

The Alchemist Brewery

100 Cottage Club Road, Stowe, VT 05672

Stop by the famous Alchemist Brewery, home of the Heady Topper, right here in Stowe! They sell some brews here that you can't find elsewhere and have a great atmosphere, outdoor games, etc.

Dedalus Wine

1031 Mountain Road, Stowe, VT 05672

A DELICIOUS natural wine bar and market serving the best wines from small producers. They offer free wine tastings on Thursdays from 4:00-7:00!

Stowe Cider / Shakedown Street

17 Town Farm Lane, Stowe, VT 05672

A great place for some heady local cider, food, and live music.

For all the days along the way
