When should I RSVP by?

Please let us know if you can make it by July 28th.

Question

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:00 PM, but you will need to plan extra time to take the shuttle from the high school. Please see the "Travel" section of the website for more details.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your date was invited they were listed on the invitation. We are not doing plus ones. We did our best to include any significant others we know about. If we missed someone, feel free to reach out and plead your case.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Just like dates, your kids are only invited if they were listed on your invitation. Otherwise, please plan for childcare and come and have a good time!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Any type of formal or cocktail attire is appropriate. The wedding is at our house and will be intimate and pretty casual, but it's still a wedding so please put yourself together. The entire event will be outside and on grass, so please save the stilettos for another occasion. The end of September in Vermont could be 80 degrees or it could be 40. Please plan accordingly and bring layers. If you plan to stay for the after party, you might want to bring a change of comfy clothes to sit by the fire.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

We will have vegetarian and gluten free options available. Please list on your RSVP if there are any other allergies or dietary restrictions we should know about.

What's the deal with booze?

Answer

We will have an open, self-serve bar of beer, wine, and our signature cocktail. We'll also have water and some NA options available. Please feel free to bring anything else you might like to drink.

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged. Please put your phones away and on silent for that portion of the event. Otherwise, we welcome and encourage you to take and share photos throughout the rest of the day. When sharing on social media, please use our hashtags: #carresemedown #stoweinlove #loveishomegrown
