Parking

The only way to park at Crowne Plaza is via the valet. There is no street parking that you will be able to use. There are other parking garages nearby that might be cheaper, but I cannot guarantee the rates. For those staying at the hotel with a car: there is an additional $34/night fee to keep your car there. For those driving themselves to the ceremony/reception: we have prepaid your valet fee, but your car cannot remain overnight or you will be charged an additional $30. Make sure to tip your valet! For those who want to Uber/Lyft: Go for it! They can drop you off right at the doors, basically!

Crowne Plaza - Playhouse Square

This is where the wedding and reception will be taking place! It is a 3-star hotel. Amenities include a laid-back restaurant/bar, a gym, and an indoor pool, as well as a sauna, a hot tub, and a kids' playroom. We have a room block rate of $130/night (plus tax.) Click the link below or call 1-800-2-CROWNE and reference the Kolar-Matthews wedding. You can stay as many nights as you want, but the special rate can only be used 3/4/2022 - 3/8/2022. YOU MUST RESERVE YOUR ROOM BY 2/1/2022 in order to receive this rate. NOTE: THERE IS MORE THAN ONE CROWNE PLAZA IN CLEVELAND. Make sure you have the one in Playhouse Square! If you would like to stay in a different hotel, some options include: - Hilton Garden Inn Downtown ($77/night) - Hilton Doubletree ($114/night) - Holiday Inn Express Downtown ($155/night) - Cleveland Mariott Downtown ($180/night) If you want to split a room with someone, let us know and we can try to connect you!

Getting Around Cleveland

There are a few options for getting around before and after the wedding while you are visiting Cleveland: Uber/Lyft: This is how we personally get around. Download the app to use it! Taxi: We have never used a taxi service in Cleveland, but the highest recommended one is Cleveland Taxi Cab Service. Call 216-856-0867. Car Rental: See the previous section Public Transportation (The RTA): It costs $5.50 for an all-day pass to use buses, trolleys, and trains. However, it is not a fully functional system like you would find in a major city and it may leave you disappointed. We don't generally recommend this option.
