Yellowstone National Park
West Yellowstone Entrance Visitor Center - 2hr from Grand Targhee Resort (once there, it is 1hr to Old Faithful) South Yellowstone Entrance Visitor Center - 3hr from Grand Targhee Resort (drive through Grand Teton National Park and once there it is only 30min to Old Faithful) Besides Old Faithful, there are a MILLION things to see in Yellowstone. I recommend checking out a park map for more ideas, but feel free to reach out for additional suggestions.
Grand Teton National Park
1.5hr drive from Grand Targhee Resort This is the spot to go if you are looking for some beautiful hiking or camping. Just like Yellowstone, there are a MILLION things to see in this park as well. Let us know if you want any specific suggestions as you begin your research.
Jackson, WY
Jackson is an amazing town in Wyoming - close to both Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. It is also a town full of amazing food and activities. Here are some of my suggestions: Kampai Sushi - if you have extra money to burn this was the best sushi we have ever had in our lives. We ate here right after we decided on Grand Targhee as our wedding venue and were blown away. If you are not looking to spend all of your money on a full meal we recommend going right at 5:30 and getting a seat on the rooftop bar to have a cocktail and an order of their gyoza - it will not disappoint! Jackson Hole Rodeo - Super fun rodeo in the middle of downtown Jackson. Watch little kids kick butt at riding bowls and drink up some Coors Light - nothing better!
