What's the weather like in Placerville this time of year?

Answer

Typically the weather in this area of California is warm with the high ranging from the high 60s to the low 80s some days. The nights can be a little chilly so we do recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl to cover up at night.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Our Great Gatsby-esque bash has a formal dress code. Break out the pearls and pin stripe suits!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please be sure to RSVP on our website by September 10th, 2024. Anyone who does not RSVP by this date will NOT be included in the final guest count.

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

If you cannot make it for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. While we will miss you, we understand that things come up out of the blue.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If the invitation you received includes a "+1" or addresses your date directly, then yes. However, if your invitation does not include either, we do ask that you show up by yourself.

Are "mini-me's" invited to come?

Answer

Although we love to watch the children laugh and play, this is going to be an adults-only kind of day! Hire a babysitter, bring your dancing shoes, and dance the night away!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do! All travel and accommodation information can be found on the tab titled "Travel"

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP online, there will be a little box that will ask for any allergies or dietary restrictions you or anyone in your party may have. Please fill out that box and we'll notify the catering company :)

Will food and drinks be provided?

Answer

Yes, light refreshments will be provided during cocktail hour and there will be a buffet dinner service during the reception.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available for the ceremony and reception! There is a small parking lot across the street in front of the venue. There is also another small parking lot up the driveway and next to the venue. If both parking lots are full, street parking is available.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors on a lawn in front of the mansion. The reception will take place indoors in the grand ballroom.

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Answer

Yes! There are ramps for guests who may have mobility difficulties (i.e. need to use walkers, wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, etc) and other guests who may just not be able to use stairs.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes! The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be at the same venue!

Can we take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

While we understand a wedding ceremony can be an exciting time, we ask that all guests please keep their phones/cameras put away. We have a photographer to take pictures for you!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are! We are registered on Zola, Target, Amazon and Crate and Barrel! There are numerous options for any budget as well as cash funds for those who would like to contribute to the costs of our wedding and honeymoon :) To find our registry, go to the tab titled "Registry" and you will see that everything is in one spot.
