Is there a shared photo album

Answer

Yes we are utilizing GuestPix for our digital photo both. Everyone please utilize the QR codes that will be around the venues to upload your own photos/videos/and even write us a note. You can also use the link provided below. What should I wear?

Answer

For the Welcome Party - Nice Summer Casual. Men - Shorts and a Polo or short sleeve dress shirt work great. Sandals are fine but if you want to golf you may want shoes. Women - Casual summer dress/cute romper/etc all work great. If you're planning on utilizing the golf bays we recommend dressing in attire that will work for that. Wedding Attire: Cocktail Ideas to wear: Men: Suit and tie are preferred, but dress pants/shirt/tie are also ok. Women - Summer dressy, fun bright summer colors, Midi/Maxi/High-low style all work great. Our floral inspiration is all bright summer wildflower colors. Cocktail Hour will be shaded. The ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors on grass that is soft so please wear shoes that can accommodate and sunscreen since we are at elevation. The reception will be inside and is air-conditioned.

Is the welcome party only for the wedding party?

Answer

NO! EVERYONE is invited to the welcome party! We can’t wait to have extra time to spend with all of our friends and family outside of the wedding day. Please come and enjoy some rounds of golf, good food and drinks!

Can children under 21 attend the welcome party

Answer

Yes children under 21 are allowed inside of bars and restaurants in Colorado as long as they are with a parent/adult.

Will there be food at the welcome party

Answer

Yes food (Illegal Petes GF and DF options available), drinks, and alcohol will be provided.

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding on Saturday

Answer

To the Wedding: There will be 2 shuttles for people staying at the hotel block and local guests to the venue. From Wedding back to Hotel, There will be 3 shuttles at night to take all guests, that did not drive, back to the double tree hotel. All guest that would like to join the bride and groom at the hotel bar and lounge for post wedding celebrations are welcome. You do not need to be staying at the hotel to come back and enjoy the after party. Please see our travel section and RSVP section to let us know if you will be utilizing the shuttles so we can make sure we get everyone on the shuttles at the end of the night. Local guests/guests not staying at the hotel and not using the shuttles. Uber and Lyft are very reliable in the city but getting a ride in the moment at Arrowhead at 11 pm, we have been told, is less reliable. If this is your plan, our venue coordinator recommends that you prearrange a scheduled ride the day before, as they have had much success with this from prior weddings. We recommend you have your ride scheduled for 11:10pm.

Weather in Colorado

Answer

With over 300 days of sunshine a year in Colorado we are hoping that it will continue that tradition on our wedding day. The weather in Colorado can change quickly in the afternoons in the summer. Most summer storms pass through quickly and will allow for the ceremony to be outside with just a little delay in the time. If weather is bad they will hold the ceremony inside the reception hall at the same location. Since you're at altitude the sun is stronger. Sunscreen is HIGHLY encouraged anytime you're outside.

Do I need to select a meal option

Answer

The platted meal gives each guest both protein options. So you do not need to pick any specific choice. We only ask for you to let us know if you have any dietary restrictions and the chef will accommodate your meal to your needs. For those with dietary restrictions we will place a name tag at your table for you to put at your seat so the servers know who to bring the specialized meals to.

Will there be anything going on after the wedding?

Answer

We have reserved the hotel bar, at the double tree Hilton cherry creek, to stay open till 1 am for those that would like to continue the party after the reception with us! You do not need to be staying at the hotel to come! All guests are welcome to take the shuttle back from arrowhead and top off the night with us!

Is there anything going on Sunday morning after the wedding?

Answer

We know many people are flying back on Sunday so we do not have anything planned on Sunday. We are utilizing the welcome party Friday night to maximize the time we all get to spend together outside of the wedding on Saturday.

What should I know before coming to Colorado about the altitude

Answer

We love being in the mile high city and can't wait for you to experience all its beauty and sunsine. There are a few things that you should be aware of if you've never traveled to a place at altitude. Denver is considered the "Mile High City" because it sits exactly one mile 5,280 feet above sea level. We also have on average 300 days of sunshine a year. With that plus the higher altitude this puts you at much higher risk of getting a sunburn even if you're just outside for a little bit. Sunscreen is recommended anytime you're in the sun. Higher altitude also means a dryer climate. While we are not in the desert, it is much dryer in Denver than it is at sea level so we recommend you use lotion and bring chapstick/eye drops/nasal spray. The dryer climate also means less humidity!!!, but it also means you need to consume more water. Stay hydrated. When you drink alcohol at altitude it can an affect you more than it does at sea level. The rule of thumb is 1 drink at altitude = 2 drinks at sea level. Stay hydrated.

Is there a lactation spot available?

Answer

For all of our hardworking breastfeeding/pumping Mommas you're allowed to pump wherever you feel comfortable. If you would like privacy, you're more than welcome to utilize the bridal suite at any time. You're welcome to store your pump in the suite and your milk in your cooler and get ice from the bar tender as well. We will not be able to access the refrigerators there. And there is a bathroom right next to the bridal suite that you can use to wash parts. We recommend bringing a few ziplocks just in case.

Question

What should I know about flying in and out of Denver International Airport

Answer

DEN airport is not technically in Denver. If you do not have TSA pre-check we highly recommend you leave 3 hours before your flight because there is just no "quick" way to get there and will take at least 40 minutes MINIMUM without traffic to drive there from the hotel block. We have been told to plan an extra 20-30 min to return a rental car. If you have an early flight we have had good success with pre-arranging an Uber/Lyft to pick us up as well.
