We're Getting Married!

Philip and Kelsey met in 2020 during the pandemic. They met on a dating app during the first “flattening of the curve” that summer. Their first date was actually an outdoor bike ride that led them to a park where they sat on opposite sides of a bench and chatted for a few hours. There was no touching/hugging/kissing at this time but a simple wave goodbye to each other. Their second date consisted of going furniture shopping and to Costco, where unbeknownst to Phil at the time, is Kelsey’s favorite store. She actually came home that night and told her neighbors that “they went to Costco and had the best time and she was going to marry this man”. Phil made things official on their third date and told Kelsey that he wanted them both to delete the apps and for her to be his girlfriend. Due to the pandemic dating was very different that first year. They spent a lot of time at each other's apartments getting to know one another on a much deeper level than most couples do in their first 6 months. They went through the second wave of quarantine together and they felt like they had known each other for years at that point. They continue to make each other the best versions of themselves. They are better together than apart and love being a team. Phil was getting ready to buy a house and Kelsey was looking to buy a condo to move into in 2021. Phil ended up finding his dream house and asked Kelsey if she would move in with him. They ended up moving into their current home in April of 2021 and have continued to make it their's ever since, hosting Thanksgivings, parties, showers, and having friends over. They have built an amazing neighborhood network and enjoy living in SoBo (south broadway). Phil and Kelsey both brought different ideas of “fun” into their relationship and they have adapted and learned to love (or tolerate) those ideas. Phil has turned Kelsey into a scratch golfer (just kidding) but she loves playing with him and having a personal coach with her at all times. Kelsey got Phil back on the mountain, both in the winter and summer, teaching him to ski/hike/camp/and backpack. They both came into their relationship with a love for travel and advenutre. Phil’s remote jobs and Kelsey's "flexible-ish" nursing schedule has allowed them to travel all over the USA and Europe the last few years. They can’t wait to continue to explore different parts of the world together, and are always looking for recommendations. Phil was able to completely surprise Kelsey with a “much anticipated” proposal on Lake Dillon. It was so special and perfect. Kelsey had no idea he was going to do it that day and thought they were taking the boat out to get drone photos to be able to sell it, so she didn't think twice about the drone or why they were out on the lake in the most romantic location. The answer had always been YES! And now they get to celebrate their love for one another with all of you. They can’t wait for you to come to Colorado and see their home and celebrate with them!
