Adriane and Kellie met over 20 years ago! Adriane remembers seeing this amazing guy ripping the snowboard park at Boreal and thinking "who is that? I want to meet him!" It took her a minute to figure out he really was a she, oops! They connected instantaneously and rode together everyday, shared timeless and heartfelt conversations, and grew as one. They lived together for 8 years, and were inseparable during those years! They would head out on road trips at 4pm from Truckee, driving through the night in treacherous snow storms, no big deal! So many crazy and fun times. Adriane said Kellie taught her so much over the years like how to stand up for herself and what it meant to have a deep unconditional loving friendship. Sky and Kellie met in 2007 in Lake Tahoe, California. They were both retired pro snowboarders and had a huge love of the sport even to this day. Every day they would run into each other at the Squaw Valley snowboard park and say hi. They weren’t friends yet but knew who each other were. One day Kellie asked Sky if she wanted to hang out so they went to Dragonfly restaurant in Truckee, California on their first date. From that day on they were pretty much inseparable and would snowboard and laugh almost every day together. They did surf trips and had parties. Kellie was there for Soleil's (Sky's daughter) birth in 2009 and many other life changing events. They have a special friendship that will last forever and Sky is so excited to share this special day with Kellie and Matt!
Holly Seidel

Holly and Kellie met many moons ago when they were in college at Sac State. They've had many amazing times throughout the years. From waking up in a snowed-in XC ski lodge to find they were in the dining room surrounded by guests eating breakfast, to wrestling in the snow after being pushed out of the hot tub, to hanging on the docks at Donner Lake, to going on surf trips to Hawaii and Mexico (Holly watched the beach gear while Kellie surfed), to Kellie pumping her on the handlebars throughout OB, to constantly letting Holly follow her down all of the mountains they rode, all while critiquing Holly's snowboard style to try and make her cool and constantly adjusting her beanie when she was unknowingly being a “gapper”– Kellie has always been a rock and an inspiration to Holly.
Elf Ellefsen

Whitlock and Elf met at the car wash in South Jersey in the fall of 1991. Matt was covered in soap from head to toe and his tight cut-offs left very little for the imagination. Elf was the new guy. Matt quickly took him under his wing and said, "Just watch me and do what I do and you'll make a ton of money." The line of cars waiting to be suds up stretched to Manhattan. That day Elf walked with $37 and they became fast friends. Elf never had a more memorable summer in his life. The gloryhole days. The rest is history.
Paul Whitworth

Paul met Matt in the late 80’s at a Spank the Bank contest at Bogus. Matt was on a Kemper riding the halfpipe and ended up winning the event. Later that summer Paul invited him to come skate his ramp. One evening the doorbell rang, Paul's Dad answered and said there were two stoners at the door, Ryan Neptune had a mullet and Matt had long wavy hair. That's where the friendship started. Matt got Paul a job at High Cascade where they met Kris Jamieson’s girlfriend not girlfriend at the time, the lovely Miss Kellie Wright. During one of those summers Kellie put Matt into a headlock which he kindly submitted to, the seed was planted. Whitlock is one of a kind; he has style, grace, confidence and has more life than anyone Paul has ever met. Paul is happy to see Matt find his equal.

Matt and Ryan started terrorizing their parents and the world at the age of four. Matt is the guy you name your first born after (as Ryan did). He has true old school values and with his creativity and independent thinking he is successful in all areas of life. His work ethic, charming personality and always having humility in everything he does is what makes him a joy to know and be around. Matt's parents were wonderful roll models, it was a true blessing to know and live next door to them. Ryan has NEVER seen Matt happier than now with his love of his life Kellie. He says he is simply a better man because of Matt and cherishes his friendship and wishes Matt and Kellie the best.
