We are honored to have Anu guide our day’s journey of love. Anu has been a friend of Shaun and Kayla’s since the beginning back in Vegas. He’s known Shaun for too many years to count but still likes Kayla better. He was the first friends to visit us in Florida and is all around an amazing friend and burst of happiness that we know our day could never be official without.
Best Man
Luke has been part of Shaun’s life for 26 years. They’ve spent high school, college and the crazy Vegas years together...and survived! From the first moment Shaun was introduced to him via Luke driving into the family motel in a boat sized LTD, Shaun knew he was going to be a friend for life. Also being fraternity brothers, they’ve shared many life long memories and it’s very special to have Luke by Shaun’s side.
Maid of Honor
Brenda is Kayla’s free spirited, adventure loving, wild child sister. Whether they are in the same home, state or country, nothing breaks the bond. So the same and so different, so many memories and all the secrets, her best friend for life! Brenda is taking her MOH duties very seriously and is responsible for getting Kayla down the aisle on time!
Groomsman
Also known as DB! Daniel and Shaun met during the Mandalay Bay years and grew their friendship to the point of DB joining Shaun and Kayla in Florida. Daniel has always been a rock in Shaun’s life, he will drop anything to help or just provide a friend’s advice. Now you can find him beach cruising the streets of St. Pete every Sunday.
Bridesmaid
Hannah and Kayla have been best friends for over 20 years! They met in 4th grade standing in line together and quickly became inseparable. Through grade school to college and now miles apart, nothing could separate these two. No matter where they are in life their friendship remains as strong as ever.
Groomsman
Brendan is one of Shaun and Kayla’s first friends in Florida. Almost every weekend you can find Brendan and the Kiki’s on a boat hunting for sandbars. He has quickly become a reason for their happiness in St. Pete along with a great teacher of all things boating!
Bridesmaid
“Cori and Kaylee” as they named each other during their slot tourney days, worked together in casino marketing at Mandalay Bay and soon became the best of friends crashing concerts, planning events, getting into trouble and sometimes working. Corianne has been one of Shaun and Kayla’s biggest supporters since the beginning.
Groomsman
Shaun met Eric as he worked with Kayla at The Don. He quickly became a great friend to both of them. From Thursday Sunset Club to weekend extravaganzas, Eric is always there for a good time!
Bridesmaid
Tiffanie “Stanton not from Scranton” and Kayla met through Tiffanie’s boyfriend Eric (groomsmen). They share the love of tequila, sunsets, boating and talking. She has the biggest heart and beautiful soul. Her and Eric have become like family to Shaun and Kayla and they couldn’t imagine Florida without them.
Groomsman
Chris has been a close friend since high school. Chris and Shaun also shared their college years together, being fraternity brothers along with continuing weekly Sunday banter for their beloved Denver Broncos.
Bridesmaid
Known as Ali Chae (by Kayla only)... Alice and Kayla were introduced to each other in Las Vegas by mutual Spartan friends and bonded over their love for MSU, wine and Alice’s cooking! They became roomies that turned into besties and spent 5 years living together. Alice was Kayla’s date at the ACMAs party the night her and Shaun met and was the reason she survived Vegas life!
Groomsman
Zach is Kayla’s older brother. He has guided Kayla throughout her life, always with a brotherly view on her big decisions. Shaun is grateful for his continued support and approval as well as his guidance in the world of the "Gordon Girls". With the passing of their father, Zach has taken on the role of giving her away and standing by their side as they start the next chapter of life.
Bridesmaid
Kayla met Sophie in college through a mutual friend one night while she was bartending. They became inseparable through her last year at MSU and remained close friends, including their families, over the last 10+ years. Even while living on opposite sides of the country, they stayed connected with their love for music festivals and wild travel sagas. Kayla is so grateful for all the memories they have made and their continued love for having all the fun!
