Our story began at a horse barn in Massachusetts. Katie was trying out a prospective lease horse with a new trainer, Matt’s mother Mary Ellen, while Matt worked as a barn hand. Katie soon began working as a barn hand alongside Matt. There’s something about scooping horse poop and throwing hay in the company of horses at 6am that only some people can enjoy…and the two of us did. We quickly bonded and became best friends. By September 3, 2015 we were an official item.

The Barn on the Pemi is a circa 1855 barn that was salvaged and moved from Canterbury, NH to its current location in Plymouth, NH. The property is owned and catered by The Common Man. It has a large terrace that overlooks the Pemigewasset River and mountains of New Hampshire. Our ceremony will be held in the large rose garden greenhouse on the property, followed by dinner and reception in the barn.
