Rancho Las Guazaras

We have reserved 3 villas for anyone who wants to stay with us. They are at the same place as the ceremony and reception, so no need for transportation on the wedding day, no need to worry about potential curfews or finding directions in the dark. If you're interested, then you can contact either of us to get additional information. Check-in time is 4 PM on Nov 7th. Check-out will be the day after the wedding, Nov 9th at 2 PM. We hope to see you there so we can spend some more time together before the wedding.

Flight

Cibao International Airport STI

We recommend that you fly to Santiago, this is the closest airport to the wedding. Other airports are fine as well but expect longer transport time. Please keep in mind that as of right now, there is a curfew in place. So, if you arrive late at night, then you can still take a taxi from the airport to your place of stay but ideally, you will arrive in the day. Also, if you are not used to traveling to DR then avoid the airport in Santo Domingo as the area can be unsafe for someone not used to traveling here.

Rental Car

EZ Car Rental

If you fly to Cibao International Airport STI and need a car then we would recommend Ez Car Rental. It is a smaller dealership, but they have good customer service, you can book it online, their prices are fair, and insurance is included so you don't get a hidden fee upon pick up. We have good experiences renting from them in the past. It is a tiny bit too far away from the airport to walk so you might want to consider getting a taxi to take you there, but it is close so that should be cheap.

Parking at the wedding

You will see a sign with the name of the ranch when you turn off the main road, it is easy to see. If you are staying at the ranch then you can turn to the left and go through the gate, and you'll find some parking spaces there. If those are all occupied or you are coming from somewhere else then you can turn to the right and you'll find a big parking area, you'll recognize it easily because there is a volleyball / basketball court in the corner. Do mind that the path from the big parking lot is a little rocky and uneven, so do bear that in mind if you for example are coming in heels but at least it is a very short walk.
