We have gotten vaccinated ourselves and we would encourage those who can do the same. If for whatever reason you're not comfortable getting vaccinated, then you are still very much welcome. Besides that, we will ask everyone to get tested for Covid-19 relatively close to the wedding, which applies to those who are flying in as well. We want everyone to be as safe as possible and we cannot avoid being in close proximity at all times. Therefore, we ask you please respect our wishes so we can all have an enjoyable and incident-free wedding. There will be hand sanitizer throughout the venue as well.
Yes, you can. But with some limitations, we ask you to not take pictures during the ceremony. We will however have a couple of minutes during the ceremony where everyone can take as many pictures as they like. Other than that, we kindly ask that you do not post any picture unless you have permission from the people in said picture. Please be mindful to others and avoid posting anything offensive or inappropriate.
Yes, we do. You can find it in the Registry section. If you attend in person, please do not bring a physical present but rather go look in the Registry section since we are not planning on living in DR. However, it is perfectly fine if you want to bring a card or something like that.
The virtual wedding on Zoom is rather straightforward. Go to the Schedule section at the top. Once you are there the first things you see will be "The wedding of Katherine & Thomas". Simply click on "Go to virtual event" and you will be taken straight to the Zoom meeting, no need to enter the password or anything. You will be able to rename yourself and turn your video on if you wish. Everyone will be muted until after the ceremony. Please enjoy the video we have prepared while everything is getting ready.
The primary speaker will be having his talk in English, but everything will be live translated into Spanish. If everything goes well with the technology, then the talk will be translated to Danish instead of Spanish on Zoom in a separate room. But we will have to look more into how to get that done technically.
The ceremony will be outside, and the reception will be held inside. We will however make sure everyone can stay dry in case it looks like rain.
The temperature is expected to be around 19°C to 27°C. It is usually quite comfortable during the day, but in the late evening and night, it can get a little cold. There is always a small chance it will rain but we are hoping for the best.
If you have any kind of condition that needs to be accommodated, then please let us know as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Unfortunately, due to restrictions, we are very limited in the amount we can invite. The wedding invitations are only for the people mentioned by name on the invitation. However, anyone can attend the virtual part of the wedding on Zoom.
If you know you won't be able to come, then please let us know as soon as possible so we have the chance to invite someone else. We will of course miss you, but we understand everyone's circumstances are different.
If that is the case, then you can contact either of us and we'll do our best to answer your questions. Here are our WhatsApp and emails. Katherine: + 1 (849) 352-4356 - k17e95@gmail.com Thomas: +1 (849) 884-7460 - thomastoxvig@gmail.com
