Stillwater Trolley Co.
Take a tour of Historic Down Town Stillwater on a fun trolley ride! If you don't want to do the trolley ride I recommend taking some time to walk around. They have a great down town feel and lots to see. Its a really cute town!
Science Museum of Minnesota
Kids will love the musical stair way and hands on exhibits. Check out the Omni Theatre an movie experience you will never forget- Look up, down, and all around—the 90-foot giant dome screen surrounds you with the most stunning scenery on the planet! It takes you soaring through space, and puts you face to face with Earth’s most fascinating animals. All without leaving your seat.

Those who love rich history will love this museum, filled with many exhibits.
Mill City Museum
Raw Power, Dramatic Views, Hands on Activities. Explore one of Minneapolis many National Historic Landmarks, built within the ruins of what was once the world’s largest flour mill, Mill City Museum is packed with fun for all ages.
Historic Fort Snelling
This National Historic Landmark resides on Dakota homeland, known as Bdote, with history spanning 10,000 years. Learn stories of the military fort and its surrounding area, home to a wide history that includes Native peoples, trade, soldiers and veterans, enslaved people, immigrants, and the changing landscape.
Minnehaha Regional Park
One of Minneapolis' oldest and most popular parks features a majestic 53-foot waterfall, limestone bluffs, and river overlooks, attracting more than 850,000 visitors annually. Take a walk by a waterfall and enjoy the fall colors surrounding you. This is one of our favorite places to walk with our two puppies Kimber and Benelli.
Minneapolis Sculpture Garden
The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is an 11-acre park in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is one of the largest urban sculpture gardens in the country, with 40 permanent art installations and several other temporary pieces that are moved in and out periodically. I am sure you have heard of or seen pictures of the cherry and the Spoon- Now you can see it up close!
Cascade Falls Trail
So beautiful. Worth the stop. You can either make a quick trip down the stairs or take the trails. The waterfall has a picnic area for family to hang out. Keep it clean cause it is so beautiful. You can get up behind the falls or play in it
Taylors Falls
Walk along the river. Look out beautiful views. Hammock in the sunshine. We came here with Abby and Norm for a day filled with relaxation, conversation and nature. Check out our picture to find one of us at Taylor Falls.
Mall of America®
This is not my favorite place, but it can be fun for kids and is cool to see at least once. Kids will particularly love Nickelodeon Universe - Its filled with indoor rides, miniature golf and more.

Who doesn't love breakfast and better yet who doesn't love Giant Cinnamon Rolls! This is another place Abby , my mom and I came when apartment hunting, but we have been back many times and it never disappointing!
Brookside Pub
We have never actually been here, but they have a wide selection and its close the the hotels.
Pizzeria Lola
This was featured on Drive-ins, Diners and Dives!! Wood Fire Pizzas to die for! My Mom (Rose Canfield), Abby and I ate here while apartment hunting for our first place in Minnesota 4+ years ago- still the best wood fire pizza I have ever had.
