There are a number of neighboring towns in North Georgia that offer something a little unique: Helen is a Bavarian-inspired town with antiques and tubing down the Chattahoochee River. Dahlonega offers the chance to strike it rich panning for gold. Blue Ridge is the Trout Captial of Georgia and the home of the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.

Butternut Creek is a steal of a deal at $50, is located right in Blairsville, and has pretty good reviews.
