Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1, 2023 so that we can finalize catering, seating, and other details. All RSVPs can be submitted on this website, under the RSVP tab.

Do you have anything planned Friday during the day?

Answer

Yes! We are starting the weekend off with whitewater rafting! If you are able to join us early in the day, we will be rafting the Ocoee River. Please reach out to us if you are interested in more details! No experience is necessary. You must be at least 12 years old. Cost is $32 a person.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Most events will be outdoors, weather permitting, and it can get hot in Georgia! Saturday - Summer cocktail attire: We suggest cocktail/summer dresses, jackets are optional, and shoes that won't sink into the grass. Friday/Sunday - Casual attire: We suggest shorts, sundresses, or even swimsuits are all fair game!

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony + reception?

Answer

Shuttles will pick up at the Comfort Inn and Paradise Hills at 4:30pm. Please be ready out front! Two trips may be needed to shuttle everyone, so we appreciate your patience. For the Hourihan hooligans, a shuttle will swing by to get you on their second round. Please be ready by 5pm, unless you are on Hoff time, in which case be ready by 2pm. Parking is available at the venue, as well. The forest service road is unpaved but well-maintained (If Kate's car can make it, so can yours!) and there is an area for parking on the left-hand side before reaching the main house. We highly recommend carpooling to the venue. We can get creative with the parking spots, but please be considerate of other vehicles and leave them space to exit.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at the venue before 5:45pm so that you can make your way to the ceremony location. We will be serving cocktails and appetizers at the main house starting at 5pm to encourage early arrivals.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Your kids are awesome. But we really want our wedding to be your night off! If you're traveling with a tiny human, let's see if we can find a babysitter in the area for Saturday night. We don't want to create a hassle for you, we just want you to relax and have fun! But we definitely don't want kids to stop you from attending, so please reach out. If you're family, you're always welcome.

Can we stop in and say hi?

Answer

Absolutely! Kate and Daniel might be hard to find at times, but the beauty of this venue is that we don't get kicked out until Monday. Please feel free to visit between events if you want to use the pool or hot tub, play yard games or disc golf, or check out the farm animals and garden. We have limited showers, so we ask you to please leave those open for the overnight guests, especially leading up to the wedding. Otherwise, we hope to see you around!
